Hotel Spa Mediterraneo Park in Roses

Very disappointing experience, mainly due to extremely poor and unprofessional service at reception. From the beginning, it was almost impossible to reach the front desk — calls from both the room and mobile phone were simply ignored. When we did manage to speak to the receptionist, we were given incorrect or misleading information, and no real solutions were ever provided. Requests for basic assistance were dismissed. For example, when we had an issue with the room temperature, the receptionist refused to send maintenance and told us to “just open the window,” despite severe weather conditions. This resulted in a very uncomfortable night. The overall attitude of the staff member was dismissive, unhelpful, and far below what one would expect from a hotel claiming to be 4-star. Instead of resolving issues, the situation was repeatedly handled with indifference. Additionally, after using the spa facilities, I experienced an allergic reaction, yet this was not handled with any level of concern or flexibility. The facilities themselves are very basic and do not compensate for the lack of service. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel, but this week (Aug 12-17) there’s a music festival on. 11pm-3am. Incredibly loud. No warning from the hotel. No apologies. No adjustments or basic sympathy. Dreadful. Holiday ruined.
