Really Barcelo gets 3 for value for money. This should be a great location, however my first impression on arrival is, I'm a Sausage being processed by the machine. It's all great. But had i bought it all individually, food, room, drink... it would have been better... without the butchers welcome on the first day or the excessively long walk to the room from reception.
Myself and my partner have just returned home from our 6 night all-inclusive stay at this hotel. We arrived to a bad start - the receptionist didn’t speak much English and couldn’t answer many of our initial questions. The first room we were given we had to request to be moved due to stains on bedding, bad smells from bathroom area and pictures on the wall literally hanging down/falling apart. Luckily...
Great place for families. Good service overall, with good food and decent drinks offer. Rooms with good space (we were 2 adults and 2 kids with 4 and 8) but some of the room utilities showing some wear and tear issues, but nothing was a blocker. Great environment overall with pool activities and live music.
This is my second time visiting this resort with my family. The last time was about two years ago and, just like then, we came on an all-inclusive basis. However, halfway through this stay, it honestly feels like I came to a completely different place. On our first visit, we were assigned to the “Brujula” restaurant, which had a great variety and quality of food (we managed to go there once this time...
We have just returned from a week at Barcelona Punta beach hotel After reading a lot of the reviews I knew what to expect.. very Spanish! Jet2 doesn’t explain how big this hotel is..it is huge The rooms are large, some of the furniture a bit dated though, a great big bed, safe, plenty of wardrobe space ( never enough hangers) Bathrooms need updated, who uses a bidet these days!! Hotel is very clean...
Magic Room was a great family experience. We've done it last year and we liked it very much, so much we decided to repeat the experience this year. Alba and António were great hosts. The rest of the resort is very clean and cosy. It's the 6th time we've spent holidays here, I suppose that says a lot.

Just spent a week here, and I have to say its a beautiful place. The food is really good lots of choice. The views are absolutely amazing. The animation team work there socks off, never stop entertaining. The bar staff, hotel staff and restaurant staff are so good and work so hard. So friendly too.
Rooms very spacious, cleaned daily, lots of storage. Animation staff are absolutely fantastic, they work so hard all the time. They are friendly and lots of fun and very inclusive, especially Chechu. All of the staff are amazing and work really hard, they are always cleaning around the pool and restaurants. The hotel has lots of activities for everyone, especially children. Food is ok, not the best...
By far the best hotel I have stayed at. The service we received was just outstanding from the amazing choice of food, entertainment and service. Also a shout out to the cleaners who made our beds and always put out 18 month old daughter’s teddy’s on the bed pillows. The attention to detail goes along way and it was very much appreciated. I would personally like to see the children’s entertainment to...
Huge hotel with great facilities. The Animation team are brilliant, they really put a lot of effort into every activity and the kids love them. They always try to put a smile on the kids faces and get everyone involved at the kids disco. Entertainment shows are very good. The wristbands are a bit annoying for opening the door locks and I would prefer a normal pillow to the long ones but other than...
Brilliant service, the hotel was absolutely amazing lovely people and the animation team was lovely and so kind and helpful especially to my son he is always shy at first but than gets involved loved the team. The hotel was always spotless and the whole staff in the hotel work so hard everyday wish I could of stayed longer as it was breathtaking and the food was always lovely. I would highly recommend...

Lovely hotel staff from reception to housekeepers very friendly and accommodating. Rooms absolutely spotless and cleaned every couple of days. Pool area very well looked after Did not use main restaurant but ate in the Gastro bar good food and service reasonably priced. Only drawback is that there is not much locally to do unless you have a car which we didn’t and the bus gets very busy.
The hotel is very well located, close to the Barrosa beach, with plenty of free space to park the car. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the beach, and the hotel has a shuttle service every 20 minutes to and from the beach with a tiny little "train" which our kids found lovely. We (2 adults and 3 kids) lodged on a villa: very well maintained and equipped buildings, in the hotel garden. It gave a sense...
It was a very good experience, great staff. The house (Villa) and surroundings were beautiful and very well maintained. Only point to improve is the restaurant. It could be have more variety along the week. After some days, we got tired of the same food. Also some confusion with big queues to buffet, since the hotel hosted some teens school excursions that flooded the restaurant and pool...
This hotel was a big surprise we enjoyed this moment the room are good the pool is stunning and the location perfect.
Im general its a good place, but its far from the beach.
Nice resort to enjoy time off with the family Big resort with nice installations and friendly staff, nearby the beach and major city/town attractions in the province of Cadiz

Basic enough room in saying that everything we needed was there , very very clean, housekeeping were excellent, the best we have encountered. Busy hotel the restaurant is very busy self service with queues at peak times, big open room really noisey and not relaxing atall , on the other hand there was a veranda adjacent to the main dining room which we thought was amazing, relaxing and more to our taste...
Spacious room with a surprisingly powerful mini-fridge and a very effective air conditioner that works properly even with the windows open. The bathtub was a great plus for me, and the building itself along with its huge pool area creates a special, almost resort-like vibe. Wi-Fi was stable in the room and only slightly weaker by the pool. However, several things really affected the overall experience...
Amazing experience 👍 Me and my husband stayed for 4 nights, very relaxing hotel… rooms were very clean, food was having so many options for vegetarians too. Location is perfect. Most of the staff are very nice. We will definitely go again 🙂🙌 I felt pool could be more cleaned. But rest of the services were perfect.
Amazing hotel ! Great location - literally on the beach . Surprisingly friendly staff - even when you stay as a last person on a breakfast or a dinner - they will be supernice - that rare. Well done for that . Food variety of food 8/10 , great grill ! Morning omelet could be faster - long queue . .Reception most of the time rammed but pro and with a smile. Pools - clean .Bathrooms - clean ( I mean...
Very nice hotel with great location by the beach. It takes about 15-20 minutes to check in one family in this hotel, so very long queues by the reception. Maybe they should do something about that. I have worked in a hotel and also stayed in lots of hotels but it has never taken so long to check in (we had no special needs or questions). After the pools close, huge seagulls and ducks come swimming...

Lovely hotel, great staff, great facilities food was fantastic with loads of variety well located for a bit of sightseeing and culture, really enjoyed our stay!
Great hotel for families with plenty of pools, dining options and access to the beach. I would say quality of food is just average and desserts in particular are limited variety. But all in all we had an excellent stay
The food was amazing, good variety. The design of the rooms are beautiful a and the bed were comfortable. However, we could not use the spa or book any massages. The room was dusty. One of the glasses used broke and my sister ended up with a piece of glasses
We loved that there was so much to do for kids and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming.
Good: Great for kids, decent food, mostly well kept grounds, comfortable rooms Bad: Noisy at night, particularly on Friday night when the party happens. Pools aren't heated like advertised. Food was good but not great if you don't eat meat. Nothing else to do in the area.
It is a very big hotel. With a tone of sun loungers. But none on the beach. The beach itselfe is nice though!

The hotel is about 15 minutes by car from the airport and well equipped with customers services.
Excellent hotel 15 minutes from the center of Seville (by bus with Line 3) comfortable and spacious rooms and a varied breakfast of excellent quality
Clean but old. Requires public transportation to get to the city center. But worth more than the price
Very close to the stadium, 3 minutes walk. Experienced La Liga football. The hotel is old but well maintained, and has rich experience and has pre-solutions for existing problems.
I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was nice, especially the people working at the gastrobar and the cleaning crew. The breakfast was good, albeit chaotic in the main breakfast room. My biggest complaint is that unless the weather is “perfect”, they’ll deny access to the garden for the whole day. I spent six days there and they closed the garden for three of them, even though it had only briefly rained...
Staff here is so good.. each and every single person from staff talk nicely be it from reception or information Center or from restaurant.. everyone is super nice and helps you instantly… rooms are great too. Greatest food quality in all inclusive setup I've ever experienced. Usually I'm not submitting reviews before my stay ends, BUT, today they've had tex mex corner on dinner which was all delicious and it marks 3d streak of very tasty food avaliable 3 times a day. I've also checked 5 different cakes, I don't even like cakes, every single one was delicious. Choice of alcohol bevarages on all inclusive...
This hotel was just wonderful. Every single staff member was polite and friendly. The food was amazing, the hotel grounds and facilities - beautiful and our room was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
We had an excellent time celebrating my big birthday. I cannot thank the hotel enough. We received a great welcome in the early hours from Juan The room was spacious. The grounds are well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel...
The hotel its self is a lovely place to be, beautiful views and lovely food to try each night. The only thing that ruined our last day was even though our transfer wasn’t due to pick us up until 7pm, the hotel had us check out at 12 noon so we couldn’t enjoy our last full day (paid for) before heading home. I also want to add that this information was small print on a completely different part of the...

A Pleasant Stay with a Few Minor Drawbacks We stayed at this hotel for three days on a full-board basis, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Since it was Valentine’s weekend, the hotel was fully booked, which...
Just came back from 10 days stay. A really lovely hotel, ideal location near the main streets, supermarket and the marina. Stayed here for 5 days in November, a really nice hotel, our experience does not match some of the negatives reviews on here. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, had a kettle and a small fridge, a strong shower, BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4 on the TV, staff we engaged with were all pleasant and helpful, the grounds were attractive and well kept. Lovely hotel, very clean in all the public areas, good location, just minutes from the gorgeous marina. Hotel room was fairly small, and would have been nice to have two chairs in a double room. Great hotel and experience! We had a suite and we really enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. Highly recommended! Clean, relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
This is a most beautiful beachfront hotel with every facility you could imagine, yet it's the staff that make it really special. I was there for a week, the only English person in the hotel, and everyone was so friendly. I loved the hotel it was amazing You might ask why I only gave the holiday four and not five that was due to a problem with my foot which restricted my mobility and meant I couldn’t go far from the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel and extensive grounds are immaculate. There are 2 large pools and one has a path to the beautiful Barrosa beach, where there are also restaurants. I spent one night at the hotel this past weekend, and it was by far one of the best experiences I've had in years. The location is absolutely stunning, with direct access to wild, expansive beaches. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and tidy. The only criticism is that signage is poor in finding places for example spa, gym etc. Very confusing. Apart from that excellent location.
We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! From the warm welcome with a refreshing drink and the escort to our room, everything was perfectly arranged. Great resort to travel with the family. The shows and the kids club were very appreciated by the little one. The hotel faces a lovely beach with bars and entertainment. I would definitely come back.
We spent one week at the beginning of September; a room with sea view. The location is excellent. Service was very attentive and made us feel welcome. Thanks for an excellent experience.
A pleasant stay at this hotel. Room had a really nice colour scheme and one imagines the inspiration was from the colour of the sea. Bed was massive and firmish but comfortable. We've just returned from 9 nights all inclusive, and it's one of the best 4 star hotels we've been to. I don't give many hotels 5 stars so it goes to show how good this place is The food, as some mentioned was quite samey at times, but there were that many options overall, it didn't bother us. Lunch and dinner had live stir fry cooking and that was a particular hit. Normally on all inclusive holidays...
Great hotel but rooms are a little small and narrow. Could do with some drawers installing inside on side of the wardrobe to help organising clothes instead of loving out of a suitcase. We had a generally pleasant stay. The sea view from our balcony was amazing and definitely a highlight. The food was repetitive but plentiful and satisfying. This was inconvenient as we were traveling with a small child who naps during the day. There are...
We paid for superior rooms, really don’t bother. They placed three single beds into a tiny room (no bedrooms no privacy) three adults. Toilet was dirty. Receptionist didn’t care one bit just told come back tomorrow then come back in the afternoon. It use to be a lovely hotel but very poor standards
For the amount of money paid including "everything" I'm a bit septic about it. No drinks when you first got into the room, no beer before 10.30am, from 1100 pm drinks mega expensive. We love this hotel and come and stay every year. All rooms have a beautiful view of the sea. Food is excellent!
Loved having “The Level” access. Perfect for breaks back at the hotel, nice staff, and not a terribly crowded poolside experience. Definitely worth the upgrade.
Perfect beach locale Good location across the street from the beach. Rooftop pool/bar nice as well. Not in downtown Malaga so you'd have to cab into old town area. Was perfect for our last night in the area and quick drive to airport next morning.
We were three adults in an junior executive suite, which was spacious and we loved the large balcony with great views of the sea. Very tiny, one wasn't working correctly, and they took forever. It comes across as an...

I have just returned from a fabulous all inclusive week in Don Marco. The food was very good and the drinks were proprietary brands. We had a room overlooking the beach which had lovely views. My only complaint was the loud booming music from the Irish bar - the bass really blasted out! The old Town was well worth a visit, using the quaint lift for 50c each. Would definitely return.

With one day left , I thought I'd write a review. We stayed as a family of 4, our two girls aged 13 and 10. Cant believe some of the negative reviews, we have had the best stay!. Overall a great hotel with very good facilities. Staff were always very helpful with great communication. Just a couple of points to improve the experience at the hotel. It would be good to have the beach bar open later until sunset, or even as an evening option as the lobby bar decor and layout lacks atmosphere. There needs to be more staff at the lobby bar, or another bar for the evening. The...
We had a really good stay at the hotel this week to start with. There were some cons but let's start with the pros. The hotel is really spacious and has a lot of things you can do. There are 3-4 pools , golf court, tennis courts, children rooms for entertainment, bars and so on. The room we were in was relatively clean and spacious and had almost everything (but not bedstands) you'll need. They clean...
The positives: really good selection of food for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Lovely staff, lovely views. Great large pool that the kids absolutely loved. A good gym. Large rooms. The negatives, on the surface things look clean but a slightly more discerning look reveals dirty stairwells, really dirty patio doors etc. Basic amenities in the rooms with old furniture, location a bit isolated, you’ll need...
Fantastic stay at the Sol Marbella Estepona - Atalaya Park Service was brilliant, food was fantastic. Great area around the swimming pools. Large open grounds. All inclusive drinks were great. Only 1 issue, No Bloody Mary cocktails on the All inclusive, you have to pay for it, but you can get a Vodka and Tomato juice, which is 99% the cost of a Bloody Mary 🙈 overall we had a great stay, rooms were...
Just got back from 7 nights at Sol Marbella and we had a wonderful time. We read a mixture of review lately on trip adviser, but I go anywhere with an open mind as people on this app tend to let the smallest inconvenience ruin their stay. When we first arrived I would say the outside could do with a lick of paint, but once you walk in the reception and all indoor areas are modern and well maintained...
Just came back from a short break with my daughters and we had the best time. The location isn't ideal if you want to get out and about but we just wanted somewhere to relax, swim and have fun so it was perfect for that. The food options were great, some of the best I've experienced as a vegetarian at an all inclusive. Everything was well labelled too. The entertainment team are fantastic and work...

I chose this hotel because of the distance from Sevilla Santa Justa train station, about 10 minutes walk away. The room was comfortable, especially on Christmas where we just lay back and relax.
We stayed one night. Location is near to train station. Hotel bed is comfortable. But my room is near to main road. If you are a light sleeper. You may need to consider. We had our Xmas even dinner at hotel, they serve super nice food with outstanding service. The downside is the extra bed they added in is broken with dented at middle of bed. And the check in counter staff is less friendly. Not have...
The hotel is two bus stops away from the train station, but it's totally walkable if you don't have much luggage. The front desk service was better, and they offer free luggage storage. However, the hotel facilities are a bit dated, and the door lock looks like the picture. The heating didn't work very well, and it was a bit chilly sleeping in early December.
Great hotel located not too far from the center of Seville. We were able to walk to the historic center in about 20 minutes, which made sightseeing easy and enjoyable, and we took a taxi back in the evenings. The breakfast was outstanding, offering an impressive variety of fresh, delicious options that really exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing everything...
I made an event with my company here. The meeting room and the person that helped with the event was good and everything went according the plan. I was expecting a little more quality for the price we paid (you can eat better in the restaurants nearby paying less). However I stayed a few days with my family and we suffered because the rooms are poorly isolated. There are a couple of rooms above some...
The best service of any luxury hotel we have ever stayed. We were treated like VIPs. On our second visit, we were greeted like old friends. Special shout out to Marta at the bar and Mari Prior, housekeeping. For 41 years she has promoted Melia through her superb customer service. Only one suggestion for improvement: a little maintenance and refresh of the beautifully designed rooms would be welcome

Pretty hotel, swimming pools and sun beds are many, Food is nice different each evening with a theme. Always warm. Pool bar burgers are a big dodgy and under cooked. Drinks no issues, play room for kids Entertainment is mediocre and 10pm every night which I feel is late for the kids. Kids club awful on for 6-7 same songs and dance every night. Good location with the beach If you like not leaving...
Firstly every member of staff here need all the praise in the world [minus the useless lifeguards who spent all day blowinf whistling at absolutely nothing are too busy chatting amongst them self] however all others work so extremely hard and for long period of times super helpful and so friendly. The rooms are absolutely incredible and have everything and more you need spacious and the beds so comfortable...
Just came back from Estival Islantilla. Stayed with my family . This is amazing hotel, right on the beach . Kids pool ,toddler pool. Entertainment all night. Food is very good. Staff all with hands free radio communicating in Busy time in raestaurant make sure you been seated . Facilities its clean. perfect place for holiday
Stayed here for a week from the 1st June with my dad sister and husband. First impression of the hotel was that it was clean and the staff were friendly. We booked an adapted room for my dad who’s in a wheelchair, the room was small there wasn’t any room to be able to get the wheelchair down the side of the bed so it wasn’t really adapted. It had a walk in shower but it was really slippery so we had...
Hotel with excellent location, cleanliness and pleasant staff. Our room had a view of the avenue, a little noise.
It's not the first time we go!! We love the location, facilities, services, staff…

The building looks like a cute little castle. It looks like the hotel is old but has been refurbished and the interior of the lobby looks spectacular! We've been pleased with the mobile app where one can learn about all of the activities around the hotel as well as see expenses or provide feedback. We've had a chance to stay at another Iberostar hotel, Royal Andaluz, prior to this and because of...
We stayed here for a very special family holiday last week and the hotel, staff and food was excellent. I can't fault any aspects of the hotel, we each had excellent rooms, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. My only criticism might be that they charge for the safe in the room, which isn't something I've experienced recently in hotels over the past 5-6 years or so, but at €3 a day, its...
Iberostar Waves Malaga Playa is one off our favorite hotels. We visit this hotel for your years. The staff is very friendly and during the years it feel like one big family. The rooms are clean ,big enough and it's all quiet during the night to have a good sleep. During our stays the rooms have been renovated so the bath with shower has been changed into a walk in shower which will be welcome for...
A well-presented hotel. Our rooms had recently been refurbished, staff appeared to constantly be cleaning and were always helpful. The restaurant food was generally quite good, though some things let it down. Pieces of frozen-solid avocado at breakfast; soggy, defrosted chopped vegetables as ingredients at the omelette station; some near-cold items in the "hot" buffet. The main issue we had was because...
Style over substance I think is the best placed description of this hotel. Our recent stay at Iberostar Waves Málaga Playa left much to be desired for, particularly for a resort of a grand brand like Iberostar. Minibar Mystery... The room’s minibar was empty throughout our stay, not even a bottle of water on arrival! For a property that claims premium all-inclusive service, charging for mini bar...
The place, environment, rooms, food and staff all got full marks, especially the restaurant staff who were very friendly. I will definitely come again if I have the chance!
