The hotel is lovely and clean, room are good in size. Staff are friendly but have limited English so brush on your Spanish it would be helpful. The entertainment team are great, one doesn't speak English but the rest do. The live entertainment was good other than a singer one night who only addresses the Spanish guests and sing Spanish songs. The food really let it down, I'm not fussy but struggled...
Excellent hotel, with fantastic service - especially from Jonathan in the Bar who was super friendly and helpful and made the whole experience so much better
Great hotel - with excellent service, especially from Jonathan in the Bar who was very friendly and great at his job and made the whole experience even better!!
i went with a few friends they said the food was the best, 30 minuets from the airport (pov: its only up the road from the nearest lidl :p .) the service was 11/10 noise was quite quiet it was the cleanest room thought the hotel. Value= the best rooms got a balcony aswell the pool is amising, restraunt is realy nice i might aswell go back!
ALEGRIA Colonial Mar. Hi. We as a family have just returned home from our wonderful holiday in your hotel. From the moment we arrived everything was amazing. Greeted beautifully by reception staff. Our rooms were just perfect. Beautiful views, beautifully clean. The meals were just perfect, so much to chose from for both adults and children. My granddaughter has gluten allergies, you provided for...
Just had a week over half term, 2 adults and 7 year old. Can not fault anything. We booked an apartment which was great, the extra was worth spending for all the rooms we had, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lounge/dining kitchen. Plus a bigger balcony than a standard room. Transfer time was about 45 minutes, a lot of the coach got off so check in queue was long but 5 staff on duty. My Spanish is poor...

Easy to check in and great breakfast
I liked the budget hotel especially the lobby, breakfast, staff and atmosphere. 🤗 Just expecting at least a kettle in the room or hot water for flask's or something similar.
Appreciate the complimentary bathroom extras but couldn't identify what was within the bottles? Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion?
Overall great 👍 economy hotel, comfortable bed and large room.
Great hotel, good staff, good facilities, very comfortable bed, powerful shower, clean, amazing breakfast/brunch 10/10
Great hotel but wish we had a balcony.
Buffet breakfast / brunch excellent choice.
Clean and comfortable.
Prices in hotel bar reasonable.
Central to square, bus stop and train station. About a 15-20 min walk to beach.
It’s ok. Location is great for the party life but the view from the room was not exactly holiday dream.
Simple and elegant hotel with great service. The staff very helpful and happy. The quality of breakfast/brunch is great. Lots of shops around.

A special mention to the housekeeping staff, who did an excellent job every day—our room was spotless and always felt fresh and welcoming. The breakfast staff were also fantastic: friendly, attentive, and kept everything well-stocked even during busy times. The location is great, with easy access to the beach and beautiful surroundings. However, the hotel is situated on a fairly steep hill, with quite...
Good points The room was clean and the view was good. The entertainment around the pool for the kids was good (which was good as we visited early April so the pool was pretty cold). The food was OK, a very British menu, which I didn't mind, but if you are travelling to Spain for Spanish food you will be disappointed. The location of the hotel is pretty central so good there too Bad points The pool...
The Bali is a very friendly hotel in a good location. It isn't the Ritz and doesn't pretend to be but everyone seems to be having fun. My 10 year old son really enjoyed the children's activities and had the best time. We've stayed here several times before and would not hesitate to return.
Just returned from a 5 night stay is this rather nice hotel.. check in was fast and simple with the lovely lady on the desk w..we were allocated a room on the top floor at the very end it had a great view from the balcony..the room itself was on the small side but it was ample for the 2 of us and it was lovely and clean even looked as it had been revamped..we stayed half board and we thought the food...
Quite a nice hotel but lacks a kettle in the room! Breakfast is all lovely and fresh and plentiful, the drinks stations have plenty of choice too. I can't comment on the pool areas as it wasn't warm enough to use them. Overall a lovely 4 night stay at the Bali.
Love the hotel bali very friendly hotel allstaff work very hard I came with my kids when they were young now been back with grandkids me and my husband came in January the weather wasn’t very good but the hotel provided good entertainment so you didn’t need to go out

The good :
-Very good location. It also felt very safe inside the locked gates.
-Dogs are welcome. And some greenery around suitable for a quick morning walk.

The bad:

Arrived very late - found it difficult to find entrance in the dark but once I did Receptionist let me in and was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay. Quiet due to time of year. Staff friendly. Lovely break
Had a wonderful break here. Reading reviews about ants I bought spray on my first shop so it wasn't too bad a problem despite being ground floor. Lovely pool and lifeguard makes sure that people don't reserve and dont return so you can always get a chair whatever time of day. Spacious apartment with a modern look - had everything we needed. Lots of kids entertainment in evenings but it...
You need a car if you stay in this hotel. It's located in a steep hill away shops and restaurants. From the map, the beach looks like a few minutes walk from the hotel, but because it's on a hill, the road is snaky and the walk back is a serious hike. We didn't know this so we had to use Uber every day which costed us a fortune.
Apart from that, the apartment was good enough. Don't expect daily cleaning...
Everything is fine, except for a high deposit (€200) and an extra €5 per night for parking inside.
Superb hotel with magnificent views of Gibraltar. Well-equipped apartment, spacious and clean. Holiday village with swimming pools suitable for all ages. Very satisfying stay

Only there for a few days, but was clean, as were rooms, never ate in the hotel and never used the pool either, but liked the location n staff were helpful.
This hotel was superb for a three star I couldn’t really fault it .
The only downside is it’s at the top of a very steep hill. So if mobility issues might not be the one for you unless you can afford taxis.
Overall a very good three star and would recommend.
Great travel and accommodation
Great hotel! Comfortable room with a nice balcony! The food is good and the pool is great! I highly recommend it!
This is a 3 star hotel but should be 4 star. The rooms are clean, bathroom without any mould and a great shower. Beds comfortable
I would book again without any hesitation

Hotel was in a great location close to the train station and the beach. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and the roof top pool was lovely too
Lovely classy hotel, rooms lovely everything you need. Air con, mini fridge, shampoo and body wash in lovely shower area, lovely soft towels. Sea/marina views perfect. Surrounded by bars and restaurants all with great atmospheres, food and service. My husband had his birthday while there surprised by a complimentary bottle of fizz with a lovely message from the hotel. Would definitely recommend
We had a really nice stay in the hotel We had to pay a bit more for a room with seavieuw witch was really awesom The hotel is very centrally located And close to shops and restaurants We really recommend this hotel
Budget hotel on the seafront. Good heater, mini fridge, nice sea view, kettle on request, clean and functional for the brief stay. (Needs a new hairdryer). 👍👍

Large hotel, probably the largest in Matalasçanas. The rooms are modern and everybody seems very friendly. The breakfast was delicious - good choice including eggs, cereals, bread and good coffee. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a room overlooking the pool, which was lovely, but the downside to this was that we could hear the entertainment. Excellent everything, for example, location, price and services. I am fully satisfied.
The facilities seemed a bit dated. In the mornings, there was a lot of noise from cars when you're trying to rest. The service when entering and exiting the parking garage was very poor. Since tourists are not allowed in many big cities in Spain, I belive this hotel offers the comford and easy access to all main attractions in Sevile. Very friendly staff. Including breakfast in your boking is recommended as they offer a perfect meal.
Amazing, generous size, roof pool.
Rooms are spacious and I was greeted with a small bottle of Cava wine. The lobby is big and the corridors and hotel are nicely scented. The breakfast (english) for 15 eur (in 2025) is convenient but probably not worth since there are plenty of restaurants with typical Spanish food less than 3 min walk from this hotel's location.
Lovely rooftop bar open till 11pm. Nice small pool to cool off in & sunbeds. Great breakfast buffet. Very central to everywhere. Lots of lovely local restaurants either side & a supermarket & tobacco shop bext door.

I enjoyed stopping here. Poolside vibes, nice chilled atmosphere. There's a barber shop at the hotel and you can book through a QR code. My hotel room had a shaving pack which was a nice touch... i'll definitely come back again.

The apartment, especially for this region, was simply incredible - spacious, with brand-new furniture and on top very, very, very clean! With temperature control, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The bathroom was large and pleasant. The terrace was really big.
The kitchen was fully equipped with many useful items needed for everyday living.

Great place. Stairs to rooms in case thats an issue. Has a nice restaurant with good priced delicious food. The apprtment is fully equiped. Our room has a sizable balcony with a sea view. Well worth the upgrade. Has a pool and spa. I could live in this place its that good. Highly recommended.
The first thing I want to mention is that this is definitely a place we could return to for a self-catering option. The one-bedroom apartment was more than enough for a family of four.
