Villa Alicia Guest House in Malaga

Nice friendly laid back establishment. Not 5 star accomodation but good for the price. Lots of steps so not suitable for disabled access.

One of the best places you can stay at for a very low price. There is plenty of places to park if you are traveling by car. The room itself was amazing with a vintage like decor. The bed can only be explained by comparing it with a cloud. It's about a 10-15 walk from downtown. Very friendly staff and more than willing to give you directions to the places to visit. We'll definitely go back

The building was beautiful with a lot of plants, the lobby needs some work. The room was confortable with a nice balcony, the A/C works well, we had a small fridge, we had water kettle with teabags. The breakfast started at 9am (too late for us). Lily made an effort to acomódate us, she prepared us two picnics bags to take. We appreciate the effort.

The location was excellent and quiet. We loved the staff and terrace! They were the best part of our wonderful stay!

For this price was it an amazing stay. Adorable villa with very good breakfast and away from the busy streets. I would recommend booking the rooms with A/C

We had an amzing stay at Villa Alicia. The staff were extremely helpful and so pleasant. The continental breakfast was absolutely excellent. The patio/terrace out the front was a great place to relax and unwind at night. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Malaga. I can't fault it at all 🌟

My wife and I had a great stay at villa Alicia, staff are extremely helpful and friendly, located just 20 mins walk to the main area of the city so I'm a nice quiet area but close enough to enjoy all Málaga has to offer

Good value and short walk to downtown. I booked a room with shared bathroom and ended up having it to myself since I arrived Sunday night.

On the negative side, the bathroom needs a working exhaust fan - it is tiny and gets very humid. Additionally, the breakfast situation is very confusing - they put out a good breakfast buffet, but it is actually a separate cash charge of 10 euros. I didn't realize I had to pay in cash until my last day. IMO you should either include the breakfast or not for everyone, or make it clear in the reservation that breakfast is extra. The information I received gave hours for breakfast, which to me means breakfast is included in my reservation.

I loved the location and the option to have breakfast. As a sole traveller I wanted somewhere safe and convenient. The room wasn’t very big, but again I was solo as. It had what I needed and a kettle.
You could also use the kitchen up until 8.00pm which was an added bonus.
You could walk to a nice beach in about 30 minutes, port took me about 25 and the old town around 20. There were buses if you wanted to do that.
If you want en suite make sure you request a room with it.
I was worried that the old window in my room wouldn’t close but it seemed pretty safe and there was a small safe in the room to use.
The staff were really helpful and friendly.
Malaga had amazing places to visit and there were shops, cafes and restaurants all within an easy distance.
If you don’t speak any Spanish maybe use Google Translator or something like that but the staff spoke very good English.
Would definitely go again.
