Terrible experience – never again

Staying at Hotel Zenit Malaga was a complete disappointment. Let’s start with the food – absolutely awful. It honestly tasted like it was being cooked by someone at the reception with zero culinary skills. Every meal was a mystery, heavy and bland, bordering on inedible. It felt like they went out of their way to make it unpleasant.

The staff were unfriendly and completely unhelpful. Any time we asked about something – whether it was noise, poor service, or basic information – the go-to answer was: “We’ll call the police.” I’m not joking. It seems like their default customer service policy is intimidation instead of assistance.

The room was clean, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The view was awful – just a wall of the building across the street. The hotel is on a very noisy road, and thanks to paper-thin walls and terrible soundproofing, we could hear traffic, conversations, doors slamming, even people in the next room breathing. Forget about sleep or privacy.

To top it off, the hotel has no facilities. No pool, no gym, no sauna – nothing to make the stay enjoyable or even justify the price. It’s just a loud, uncomfortable building with bad food and worse service.

I travel often, and this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs.
