- very tiny room, only a bed, a wardrobe and one night stand, and nothing more,
- reception desk only available from 8 till 21,
- staff poorly speaking English, moderately helpful,
- no AC in the room, but good thing it was not the middle of summer
+ quiet neighbourhood, a bit remote from the center of the city, but well communicated with public buses,
+ not too expensive

It was exactly what I needed for my four day stay and was more than convenient for everything else that occurred throughout my stay in the area.

This was our first time staying in a place like this. The location was good and everything was clean. The best part is that we didn’t see the staff much, as the lobby was closed most of the time. Unfortunately, when we did interact with them, they were not friendly—actually quite the opposite. Staff working in hospitality should be welcoming and approachable, which wasn’t the case here...

I’ve never stayed in a hostel in this area before but I was pleasantly surprised. My room, a king size bed, a little seating area and en-suite (room 9). The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious, with air conditioning and towels provided. Hostal Moscatel is a 10 minute, holiday walking pace, to El Palo beach and only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop for Malaga. I would definitely stay here again!

The owners are nice and speak English also.
The hotel is very close to a beach ans minutes from buses that takes you to center city or other beaches. I recommend this place 100%

I very much loved staying in this hostile. Friendly greeting and above all an amazing king bed. Perfectly situated in Malaga, I highly recommend this cute little place.
