Everything was perfect, the receptionists were all friendly and helpful.

Hotel with a perfect location and a very good room. However, I booked a room with estuary views and didn't get one.

A wonderful hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Even though we arrived well before check-in, we were able to shower and freshen up after our journey, and then immediately set off to explore the wonderful city of Bilbao! The Guggenheim Museum is just a short walk away. The breakfasts were delightful, and the coffee was delicious!

It was good, but for example, they had a full parking lot, so we had to leave our car on the street. Several times when we used the bathroom, it smelled like sewage. The staff was excellent, the mattresses were 10 points, the location was exceptional, and the neighborhood was very good.

The location was not the best and the hotel had not parking but it was rather easy to find a parking spot plus it was a free zone.. the staff was really friendly and really helpful giving us a map and telling us good places to eat which places to avoid etc.. unfortunately there was no breakfast except for a coffee machine and some packaged croissants and muffins but they were available 24/7. I guess for the price you cant expect much. It was really worn and in need of paint and modernisation. The bathroom tiles looked like something from the 50’s But it was very clean and the location is fine. The staff was friendly and the bed was fine for a good nights sleep.

This hotel is lovely and clean. It's in a great area. Walking distance of restaurants and shopping area. The only problem l encountered wait was particularly hot at night and there is no AC. There was a fan. Otherwise couldn't fault it. Helpful staff.

Clean and quiet B&B in the center of Old Town. No reception. They charged us in our Swedish currency a day before arriving without asking us what currency we wanted to be used. This resulted in a very bad exchange rate for us and we lost almost 100 Euros.

We arrived late but communication prior to arrival meant it was very easy for us to access our room. The central location was perfect for a short stay.

Other than the rooms are extremely small, everything else was great: great people, great service, fairly clean, plenty of coffee, needs to have more AC on the waiting room.

Central Location A great, themed room in lovely building in a central location of the Old Town. Close to bars, attractions and transport with helpful staff on hand for most of the time.

Great location though our room #7 was a bit noisy late into the evening due to being above and across the narrow street from a lively bar. Excellent, friendly service (gracias Vickey) and a great location in the Casco Viejo. Would definitely stay again 😃!!

We had a lovely stay at Pensión Basque Boutique. The location is great, staff at reception were excellent with helpful advice on places to visit & eat. The only thing to be aware of is that it’s up two flights of stairs with no lift.

Quirky clever decor in the heart of the old town Helpful and friendly reception staff. Quirky and clever decor. Well equipped room and fine for a stopover as the location is great for cafes, bars, restaurants and grocery shops. I’d have liked to have smelt fresher better quality pillows and a mattress which didn’t dip towards my partner. Shower edges need redoing/cleaning.

Very very good. The location is superb, the room and bathroom are very well maintained, and look recently refurbished.. The folks at the front desk are really good (hi guys), and there is parking right in the building. On the location, it's just across the river from the guggenheim, so super close. Go up the bridge, cross over and you're there. :-) Highly recommend this hotel.

A Great Place To Stay A Good Size Of Room I Only Had Problems Opening Main Door I Just Waited For People From Outside To Arrive For Them To Open The Door , The Final Day I Manged To Open It Myself. Not Far From The Train Station & Easy To Walk Back To At Night From San Mames I Would Stay Here Again

Very good bus and train connections. The train station is about 200 meters away. The train departs approximately every 15 minutes. There are also grocery stores nearby. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the room is very noisy. As a solo traveler staying only one night, this was perfectly adequate.

This is one of the Best. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me, and this place was immaculate. It is two minutes from the train station, and I couldn't hear any train noises. If I ever visit Bilbao again, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

I stayed one night in a shared mixed dorm. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and spoke English, which made check-in easy. Breakfast was basic but free, with bread, coffee, and juice. The hostel is not in the city center, but there is a bus stop right outside that takes you to the center in about 15 minutes. Acceptable for a one-night stay. We booked this hotel for one night. Unfortunately, the room did not have a private toilet and shower as advertised, and there was no access to a kitchen either. It was also quite noisy due to its proximity to the highway and the communal showers. On the positive side, it offered a very beautiful view of Bilbao.

Get your towel for 3.5eur) It's very clean and nice especially if you are not at the full packed room. Even at Final LE it looked empty, haha. But all the rooms were purchased. It takes time to get the city and back, hostel locates up on the hill. Big canteen with breakfast included: you may have your bun, pack if jam and butter, cocoa or coffee cup, orange juice and corn with milk.

It was difficult to get into the hostel and there was no one to help us. Luckily, one of the other guests was able to assist us. Parking is complicated. The beds are quite comfortable and the bathroom has everything you need. They have a dining area and very practical shared refrigerators.

Standard room with bunk beds. A basic bathroom. Clean. The location is good; we arrived from the airport on bus A2153, which drops you off 5 minutes from the hostel. It's a 20-minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum and 25 minutes from the Guggenheim to the Old Town. People are quite noisy in the hallway leading to the rooms; it's also a matter of courtesy, but a sign in the hallways wouldn't hurt....

Everything is great, they answer calls very quickly to resolve doubts immediately.

Pros. Price and location. 4 bed family dorm booked at kady minute did the trick . 10/. 15 min walk to Guggenheim. Cheap cafes/ resturaunts near by . Parking near by .clean . Has kitchen . Cons : no air con/ fan and room overlooked a small and airless courtyard so room was very stuffy . ( prob not an issue iitsude if summer ) room very small. Shower curtain arrangement made it hard not to flood bathroom

We were frendly welcomed. The Room was clean. It's a Hostel, so dont expect and rate as being in a Waldorf Astoria.

The location was very convenient, close to a bus stop and the Guggenheim Museum. The old town was also within walking distance. I was very grateful that they held my luggage for me. Thank you very much.

Check-in after 00:00 is tricky. No personnel at reception during the night shift. You have to self check-in using the machine, which is not very user friendly. I've spent 15 minutes dealing with all paperwork. In general - OK and clean.

All you need are two things: 1. That the beds are covered, for comfort and a bit of privacy, and that renting a towel costs €5… The service and location are fantastic. I highly recommend it.

I liked this part of the city more, the main square and museum are nearby. Nice common area and cafe, the room is dark and small for many people. It's a shame that the beds don't have curtains. But maybe I would stay here again, just in a room for a few people or with one bed

The luxury bunk beds have in-room lockers and 2 full restrooms. However, there's way too many people shoved in one room and the codes to access the main entrance don't work which is an issue if you arrive late. Also, 5 Euro for a towel/lock? To RENT?

We'll the location is great just opposite Guggenheim museum having your breakfast what you can not call breakfast is just some instant mixer of something - but you look outside and see Guggenheim it doesn't matter. The rooms are packed with bed but intimacy you can't expect - loading your cellphone you can do in a charge box but not on your bedside. The unisex shower and toilet are usefully at least...

Very cheap, and the views (on the Guggenheim) are great. Other than that, it's nothing special. You can't sit up on the bed, and the bathroom and kitchen facilities are pretty sparse. But they are functional.

Basic hostel amenities. Great location right across from the Guggenheim Museum. Included in price is a standard breakfast of bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, cereal. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Allowed us to leave our bags in unused lockers for the day.

It was a great location (right across the river from the Guggenheim) and a fantastic price. It was no frills with few perks, but the beds were comfortable enough, the breakfast was decent and the staff was very helpful.
