Excellent location within walking distance of old part of the city and opposite a huge park. Very pleasant staff. It's not cheap to stay here hence 4* overall. No traffic noise at all however we were woken by late night revellers returning to their room.

This restaurant was outstanding quality at a more than reasonable price. Highly recommend. The sea bass was delicious and my wife who is a vegetarian had the vegetables which she said was superior.

The best paella with very friendly staff , just remember they start serving in the evening from 7:30 . I found myself waiting but I was please to find the food was well worth the wait. The whitebait was crisp and tasty and the paella was well portioned and incredibly good

First time we have stopped for food and not just drinks. God this place gets busy after 3pm. People queuing for 45 mins plus to get a outdoor table. Server was great. Food awesome, especially the garlic shrimps. Will have to book for the evening dining when we go back soon.

We had a really bad experience today at this restaurant, as soon we arrived with reservations, the waiter was ignoring us, after 20 minutes he came to the table and we order 3 juices and batata bravas for entrance and two paella’s, the batatas bravas never came, after that first mistake or confusion I ask for an beer and guess what, he forgot again, so make a quick finish, and the worst part of the experience, he disrespect my father with 81 years old just because my dad ask for my beer, that was not nice at all.

Superb hotel overall. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch & breakfast in the restaurant, the staff were extremely friendly & welcoming. Our room was very good, a comfy bed & the bathroom had a lovely sized shower with everything that we needed. However, our room was at the front of the hotel & the noise from the street was incredibly noisy for most of the night. This resulted us both having very little sleep, which was a shame as we had so much of Barcelona to explore. We feel that it would be better to have requested a quieter room towards the back of the hotel. The location is perfect, with a beautiful park opposite, the busses, taxis & metro are all so easy to use, plus there are lots of cafes & restaurants. However, you can’t go wrong with using the hotels facilities, especially to eat & drink. We hope to see you again. Kind regards Heather & Phil

The room was a bit small but the shower in the bathroom fantastic. They cleaned our room daily. The breakfast was cheap and more than enough. The hotel is within walking distance to plaza Katalonia and the beach. The food is a must try and the service exceptional. Especially Valentino was really friendly and helpful with everything we needed.

This review is of the restaurant. Our friends accompanied us for a late lunch at an outdoor table within the tent out front. We had a pitcher of sangria - delicious! - a starter of delectable olives (paprika?) and two paella platters, one with seafood and one with pork and chicken. We all agreed the meal was heavenly! Very good service, such flavorful and hearty dishes. Very reasonable prices also!

We liked the food and enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate here everyday during our 3 days stay in Barcelona. Seafood paella was delicious and sangria was also the best one I had out of the 3 other places that I tried.
We even had breakfast here on our last day and it was great also. Prices are reasonable. Service was fast and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely come back again.
