Hostel Razio in Barcelona

Do not stay here. You would be better sleeping on the streets. There are too many issues to explain, but to highlight a few: the exposed wires poking out of the walls, the mold all over the walls and bathroom, the smell of Marijuana that's always present, stains on the bedsheets, very sketchy staff, and they try and charge you extra upon arrival (12€) calling it city tax. For your health, do not stay here

Disgusting pit, I wouldn't keep a pet rat in the room I paid €80 for. Filthy walls, dirty sheets a window into a central courtyard where the staff smoked all night. Do not stay here.

We had a nightmare experience with this "hostel". Seemed more like a cover-up for something more worse. The reception was full of shady men who clearly worked there but they weren't interested about their paying customers and the well grounded feedback.

We arrived there and first said that we need to pay more a "tourist fee" in top of the already paid in online room price. Fortunately we had printed the receipt and reasoned them that reservation terms said that thats all of the costs.

The manager said that they don't have any free rooms for us at the building, but can show us a couple of other "close by" places that are free. I went to look for the "hostel rooms" which were actually random apartments 1km away from the actual location of the hostel. Both of the places looked like a construction site workers resting places. Filled with empty beer cans, garbage, cardboard, beds unmade and dirty sheets etc. AND we booked a room for three and the second place had one double bed for two, nothing else (except the crap on tho floors).

We had a huge verbal fight and the situation felt extremely threatening for all of us. At the end the situation and the hell they put us through, they magically all of the sudden had a room from the same block with the beds for three that we paid for. The room was tolerable, hot but ok. We would have prefer to go somewhere else after all the anxiety, but didn't have a choice that time of the night and the entire city fully booked.

All of this took over 1,5 hours.

NEVER GO, you are better sleeping on the beach than under the roof of this horrific place!

I have never stayed in a place as bad as this one. It noisy, staff are dodgy, it's filthy. When I was shown to my room there were so many issues to address, the shower area had not been cleaned, previous occupants pubic hairs on the floor, dirty toilet, electrical socket hanging by its wires. The name of the place is different from advertised, and the couldn't explain why. The owner tried to add €10 to the bill, he said it was for city tax whereas I had already paid it, was reluctant to give a receipt. The place is absolutely disgusting.

Do not stay here!. even by hostel standards this place is disgusting. Run down and filty. Left shortly after check in. It was that bad.

This is the worst hostel I’ve ever been to. We had a room with 2 beds and private shower. It was completely dirty everywhere and totally uncomfortable beds. Also other than beds, towels, toilet and shower there was nothing. An AC was the only nice thing. If you get the room for 1€ a night you can maybe think about it, otherwise avoid this place. A day later we had a room in a nice 3 star hotel for the same price we paid (65€). Also we should have had free parking which was not the case and cost another 18€ and around 45 min of annoying talking to the guy at the parking.

Sheets and blankets seemed unwashed. Room smelled like liquor and cigarettes. Not hygienic in general, toilet was almost next to the bed. Didn't feel safe leaving my belongings in my room because the window and railings in front of it were loose. Walls are thin; you can hear other visitors very clearly. Couldn't stay the night.
