Because it's in the old town, the alleys are quite narrow, and the hotel's entrance is rather small, so you need to pay attention. I didn't see it when I first passed by, and only saw it after circling back.
Catalonia Catedral Hotel exceeded my expectations. The location simply cannot be better — right in the heart of Barcelona, surrounded by endless shopping, fantastic restaurants, and major attractions. Even Las Ramblas is just a comfortable two-minute walk away. You truly feel like everything you need is at your doorstep.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel features one restaurant and bar on first floor, breakfast is excellent with plenty of fresh and delicious options to start your day.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help — especially Ferran at the front desk. He is truly a Superman! Whatever you need, just ask him. He always has the perfect solution and goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable.
Without any doubt, I will certainly book Catalonia Catedral Hotel again on my next visit to Barcelona. Highly recommended!
