We were the second guests in this recently opened hotel. Though some decorating was still underway, our room was great. Be warned that the shower has no privacy from the bedroom.

Sort of hotel with limited service. Some room, small, have almost no windows.. good connected device.

Overall, it was just so-so. The room was damp, the space was too small, very crowded, and the lights were dim. The front desk service attitude was not good either, as if I owed him money, and was sarcastic. They asked us for more city taxes and said we could only pay in cash (probably to pocket the money), which was so funny🤭. In the end, they said they didn't have cash and said they could pay by credit card. Not a good experience👎.

Booked a month in advance, the price of the whole Barcelona hotel is super expensive during this period, and this hotel is also twice as expensive as usual, which I can understand... There are both advantages and disadvantages, and the bugs of the disadvantages are a bit unbearable, especially when it usually costs more than 1k.

Advantages: Located in the city center, it is quite close to Casa Batlló and Sagrada Familia. The overall structure is similar to that of an old villa. You need to enter a password to enter the building. The staff is very friendly. Although they strongly asked us to check in after 3 pm, she checked the room after we arrived at more than 2 pm and let us check in early. We replenished drinking water + changed bath towels every day, and let us store our luggage for free after checking out.

Disadvantages: No elevator (about three flights of stairs), the shower always ran out of hot water for a few minutes (I went to the front desk on the first day and turned on the water for a few minutes before there was hot water. It even happened twice when I took a shower on the second day There was no hot water), the shower on the top didn’t work on the first day, so I contacted the front desk and they asked a technician to come and check it the next day (it did work the next day...), and I needed to pay city tax (8 euros per person per night, the most expensive one among the cities on this trip), and I can understand that I need to pay city tax, but at first I received an email saying that I had to pay 48 euros (cash required), and I happened to be short of 7 euros, so I thought about asking the front desk to see if there was any other payment method. The front desk said there was no way, and asked me to go to the bank to exchange cash to pay. Later, I went to the Chinese restaurant to find the boss to exchange money, and then I received an email asking me to pay the city tax online through a link...

Bad disappointing experience - unprofessional, dubious hotel policies, aggressive communication. Owner would not give a refund. Do not recommend. Don't go there. Glossy hotel photos not representative. Fully agree with the 2023 reviewers low rating.

The hotel is in a great location, with restaurants and cafes around. People were nice and welcoming.
We did find it strange to not have a colon area or restaurant in the hotel, it's basically a few rooms on the first floor of a building. We were 3 adults in a triple room, it was comfortable but the room was lacking amenities for 3 people to be comfortable (especially in the bathroom which is very small and doesn't have surfaces).
We could hear the people in the room close to us speak until late, especially when they were on the terrace which is shared between 3 rooms, so the rooms are not really soundproof.
Otherwise would definitely recommend as it's comfortable and well located.

There was building renovations directly above the hotel so it was impossible to stay in the room during the day. We would never have booked if we know and the owner would not even consider a refund so we could book elsewhere or even a discount. Don't go there until they confirm the noise has finished. Very unethical.

Hotel was nothing like the advertised photos. Booked expecting room with citing view as this is what is shown on majority of photos, Majority of hotel photos show balcony, In actual fact only 2 of 10 rooms have a private balcony. The room we were given had access to a shared terrace, once we stepped onto this you could see other couples in their room next door lay on their bed, which was very uncomfortable to see. The door to the shared terrace had a lock that could be lifted off from the outside with an upward swipe of a card, I would not be comfortable leaving my belongings here. Stayed for 1 of 4 nights, Asked to cancel immediately after arrival. Hotel was very dusty, dirty, set off my allergies. Pointed out the dirt to staff immediately who denied this, refused to clean it and said it was paint. Hotel receptionists we’re unable to aid in any way as said all decisions were upto their boss whom they could only get responses from via WhatsApp, Would recommend others to avoid at all costs. Only natural light available is from shared terrace so to have natural light in the room you have to leave your room exposed to the view from the shared terrace. Conditioner bottle completely empty, Hairdryer dirty, Lots of warnings regarding fines regarding towels if taken to the beach €200 fine, warning if entering terrace after ?9pm €500 fine. Very passive aggressive signage

Do not look further for a super hotel
Our stay was really amazing!
We had a double room with a balcony to the street. The room had a good size, the bathroom was little small but alright. Because its an old building, its not very soundproofed - to the street or to the other rooms.
The style is really nice of this hotel and in the entrance there was always a lovely smell. :) Very helpfull employees and you also can put your suitecase in a save room in case you pick them up later.

The area is great for a city trip and a lot of bars or cute brunch spots are litterally right around the corner.
