My experience at this hotel was disappointing, and I feel that the value for the price is inadequate. To start, the check-in process was slow; we had to wait an hour to receive the key to our room. However, the manager was very prompt in reminding us, a day in advance, that check-out had to be completed by 11:00 a.m. We stayed in room 3, which turned out to be extremely noisy. The manager offered to change our room for an additional charge of 10 euros (a fee that wasn’t mentioned in the listing), but since there was no availability, we were not moved. The room faces the street, and although they claim to have reinforced the windows, we could still hear street noise and guests entering and leaving constantly. At night, we could even hear loud snoring from other rooms. In addition, the bed and pillows are uncomfortable, which makes it difficult to get proper rest. As for cleanliness, this is an area that leaves a lot to be desired. At night, the bathroom has a strong sewer smell, which is very unpleasant. On one occasion, the manager was intrusive, trying to rush me out of the room because I had requested cleaning. We tried to use the common areas one evening, but they turned off the patio light, which was quite inconvenient. The location is the only highlight of this hotel, but overall, my experience was poor. I don’t feel that the service and facilities justify the price (plus daily per-person taxes). Therefore, I would not recommend this hotel, nor do I plan to return.
