El Greco in Puerto Rico

Fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. This is no ordinary 3* hotel. I can't work out why it's not 4*. Love it, will be back.

We went to eat in two of the three restaurants in El Greco. Def one of the nicest looking ones with great atmosphere. But I would not say the food was the nicest. Nothing wrong with it, just not the best

Sometimes you wonder why somewhere isn't getting the hype it deserves. This is that place. The website photos just doesn't do this place justice. Hopefully mine will. We booked a bungalow here, named "Cala". It's situated in the vip area with security door to gain access. We arrived early (11.30am) and asked to store our cases. However we were told our bungalow was ready. Great start. After the usual booking in and getting the codes for the security gate were led to our accommodation. The vip area has it's own swimming pool and spa jacuzzi. The patio area has table, chairs, loungers and drying racks. Electric awning over the patio was nice. Inside was very comfortable with Two bedrooms with aircon, two bathrooms and aircon in the living area. Free WiFi and free safety box. All the facilities you could want ie washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave and kettle. You wanted for nothing in this bungalow. The onsite gym was nice, a few running machines and good multigym. The main pool for everyone to use was very large and had a decent snack bar. The views overlooking the beach was nice and all staff were so friendly and helpful. It was so quiet at night and lovely to have you morning coffee and listen to the waves. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

We had a lovely suite for a week. Everything was lovely inside . The only problem was you could not get your towels dry even after putting them on the bush to dry which to be honest looked a little unsightly. I think they should change the pool towels daily at the end of the day. Otherwise as I said you can’t dry them and when you want clean ones you have to wait for the cleaners to come which is no good if it’s the afternoon. The only other criticism was not enough sunbeds round the over 16s pool. A couple of family’s that were in the bungalows thought this pool was for them and made you feel uncomfortable if you got to the sunbeds before them, still not the hotels fault I know. General pool was lovely as was the food at the poolbar and was a very good price and very friendly staff.

20 years coming to Puerto Rico and first time staying at El Greco and will 100% be returning. From the minute we checked in the staff were wonderful, our 2 bedroom apartment was fantastic with beautiful views of the beach, the beds were so comfortable and apartments spotless. The pool area is great with lots of beds available, the hotel provide pool towels, the pool bar was lovely and very inexpensive. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Can’t wait to return.

Outstanding hotel, couldn’t fault it at all. Apartments are beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Beds are so comfortable, best sleep I’ve had in a hotel yet especially with the electric blackout blinds. Staff are lovely and met some lovely people from Dublin. We would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money. Unfortunately we’re going home today but will definitely book again soon. Fantastic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Well done El Greco

Stay in the El Greco every year it is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The apartments are spotless and the beds are so comfortable. The pool is amazing. The only problem is leaving. Can't wait to go back again next year.

This hotell was the cleanest hotell i ever been to. Inside the bathroom, sleepingroom....and so on...,the pool and everywhere was cleen. I think that it's very important when i stat at a hotell. That its cleen. It was exellent food and service. You got a smile from everybody ..the recepsion, the cleeners, yes from everybody. Thanks for our stay here. We want to came back. ♡♡♡
