Seaside Palm Beach in Maspalomas

Dinner for two at La Bodega was delightful! Our server, Ivan, was a true gentleman and host who went out of his way to explain the various dishes, sauces, wines, sourcing/ regional ingredients and ask about our preferences. The fish and vegetables were delicious and fresh. Ivan checked on our preferred timing and served dinner at our pace, which was leisurely. We skipped dessert and opted for a local orange liqueur as an aperitif and it didn’t disappoint. The chef came to say hello and ensure we were satisfied, which was a lovely gesture. All in all a wonderful birthday dinner (although we didn’t tell them we were celebrating my birthday) and I would highly recommend! Finally, for the excellent food and service, the prices were quite reasonable. 5 ⭐️

Superior Room, Ocean View
Room reasonably large with space for 2 people to move around comfortably. Plain balcony.
Small, but very nice, bathroom with toilet and quite a large shower – could do with an extractor fan; window not as effective.
Ocean view room means the opposite side of the hotel to pool and activities area, which means quieter.
Nice beach and ocean view is over the hotel car park and a road of low rise beach front apartments. Very little noise from outside. Higher floor probably has better view and quieter. We were on the 4th floor and the view was pretty good, and were not bothered by any noise.
Lots of wardrobe, cupboard and drawer space.
40+ inch TV. Several UK channels.
Six digit safe in the wardrobe is just big enough for my 15.6 inch laptop.
Wifi 10 mbps up / 10 mbps down in room.
Wifi connection with room number is a bit hit and miss, but reception has a work around.
Aircon fan was a little noisy, but it didn't stop us from sleeping. The aircon cooled the room fine.
Double curtains kept out light very well.
Hotel in general:
Could do with more no smoking areas and more clearly sign posted.
Good WiFi signal everywhere in hotel, even on my cheapo tablet.
Excellent and very extensive breakfast buffet with a little table service.
All staff and services were **excellent**, and staff were always very helpful.
A large variety of activities and excursions can be booked from the concierge desk.
Italian restaurant good.
Rather good cabarets every night at bar.

Very good service and very nice facilities. The food and service was great I will for sure come back again.

Excellent service and well designed hotel.

It was fantastic again. A sea-view room right on the boulevard. Delicious food and a fantastic wellness center and sauna. The personal service is a reason for many people to return. See you soon.

This holiday was organised to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. We couldn't have asked for anymore the food the hospitality the room excellent.

Fantastic food, and our waiter was amazing. Very tentative, informative and accommodating! Would love to have come back if we had more time!
