This was the first hotel I stayed at during my trip to Spain. Every day, I'd head out before dawn. It's really close to all the main squares, within easy walking distance. Coming back at night was convenient too, with the subway right outside the door.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to a subway station, making it easy to get around. The area is bustling with lots of food options. The facilities are relatively new, and the soundproofing is decent. However, the windows don't open for fresh air, and there's no kettle. Also, bottled water and toiletries were only provided on the first day.

Highly recommended, location is prefect, surrounded with restaurants and retails, breakfast is good with 10 types of fruit. Room is clean and spacious.

Excellent location. Tons of stores and restaurants walking distance. Room is clean with free toiletries including room slippers. Would stay again. The room is for couples no privacy when taking a shower

Great location! It's within walking distance to the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de España, right above the Opera metro station. Also super convenient for getting churros.

The location and breakfast of the hotel were good. However, there was water leakage problem near the door of washroom. I called reception and one staff come to check. He said staff would come to fix the problem in next morning but no one followed up with such issue till I left the hotel. What a let-down!

Great location and friendly staff. But very noisy at night on the street and we also heard the laughters and conversations jn the morning/ evening next door clearly, which is very annoying.

The hotel is well-equipped and impeccably clean. It offers a quiet environment despite its bustling, central location. Service was good. It's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, with the palace and main square just a short walk away. Taxis and plenty of dining options are right outside the entrance. The only minor drawback was the breakfast, which was average with limited choices.

Fantastic dinner experience! The food was incredibly flavorful and the staff were delightful. The head chef stopped by our table on several occasions throughout the night and made sure our meal was as educational as it was delicious. I'll be very interested in checking out the Washington DC location when he returns to the States.

Nice place to eat good Spanish food at a reasonable price. Close to the opera and the royal palace. Worthing to try the rabo de toro

Host was incredibly friendly (in typical Basque fashion). The interior was beautifully elegant. But the portions, while delicious, were smaller than at other restaurants we've been to. And for 20€ a piece, were quite high. It's not like they were spectacular, or innovative. Only thing that could possibly justify is the location, which is right by the Opera.
Expensive, but still quite nice, so worth the 4 stars with the caution on the price.

Great hotel! Repairs in 2016-17. A quiet city center. Supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast with such a variety of fruits, meats, delicious sausages and pastries.... Scrambled, fried, etc. also optional. Coffee and champagne for Breakfast is great! We next time only here!

Hotel has recently been refurbished so it's pretty much new! Clean and comfy rooms, efficient staff and favourable location as it's within walking distance from great shops, bars and restaurantes.
