Similar as other old buildings, no lift. Room is nice. Except for no air conditionar in such hot weather. This makes us hardly fall asleep. No kithchen.

Pictures available look much better than the actual rooms in the hostel. Also taken to make the rooms look bigger than they are in reality. Generally clean, yet i would expect more from what i had read on the webpage

As a last minute booking this Hotel was a nice surprise. For the price it is in a great central location. Less than 5 minutes walk to Callal metro and only 10minutes walk to Plaza Major, Puerta del Sol and the Opera. The rooms are basic but clean and my room had nice old style window shutters that could be left open all day. The kind fellow who runs the hostel named Serafin, was helpful with a map of the neighbourhood and carried my heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. It was safe and secure and I was happy to stay there. One tip, it is on a very busy street and Madrid doesn't sleep so take your earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

The hotel staff was so rude and the card for the room wasnt working i had to change it everytime and the door was broken it wasnt opening they came and fixed it but it broke again they gave us another room to stay at because the other room door wasn’t opening. After that they were being rude and wanted us to leave and wanted us to pay for the room that they gave us because the other room wasnt working. Its their fault that their door is broken why should i pay for the other room? They were inappropriate and their behavior was the worst behavior ive ever seen. Biggest mistake booking this hotel. Vacation ruined. I dont recommend it.

Nice, clean, well located hotel. I stayed one night only. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The room had an eclectic decor. I liked it.

A Hostel masquerading as a hotel. Paid 290 Euros per night for a room with gym matt flooring , a window that doesn’t close and visible dust everywhere , so that you wake up with a stuffy nose and sneezing like crazy. Let’s not even talk about that “jacuzzi bath” it’s mouldy, I missed my slippers. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

As seen in the pictures, this room costs 265 euros in mid-March and is in this condition. Ridiculous.
Arrogant receptionist. Complete inflexibility on their part. An overly complicated and laughable check-in procedure. The room is in terrible condition—the walls and plumbing are a disaster. On top of that, the room faces a dark hole, for this amount of money.

The jacuzzi is unusable because there's no drain plug, the headrest is broken and just left in the tub, and it’s unbearably loud, which must be a nightmare for the neighbors—not something you’d want. The only wardrobe in the entire room is the one shown in the picture, where two people are supposed to store all their clothes. There isn't even a table, a drawer, or anything to put your things on, open a laptop, or sit anywhere besides the bed. The furniture and walls are worn out, the air conditioning unit is rusting, and from below, this is the "beautiful" view you get to look at.

This place isn't worth a cent. No one should even think about booking here.

Booked last-minute rooms here after our AirBnB lost power. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Our room faced the courtyard, so it was nice and quiet. GREAT location - plenty to do/see/eat all within walking distance.

The food was delicious!! We had dinner early with a 6 years old and we really had a nice time. Great service, the staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place. And I will for sure come back with friends or family.

Such a lovely restaurant. We had the spicy nachos, Thai chicken curry, and pizza. All the food was flavorful and delicious. The interior design was stunning and the staff very welcoming and friendly. The only thing I didn't like so much was the slightly slow service, but I can understand because the place was fully packed. Recommended for an Italian dinner while in Madrid. ??

A brochure, but great food! Try the starters, it's a must. Great for sharing with friends. It's cosy and warm but always crowded, so book in advance!

Nice Cosy restaurant in the heart of malasaña. Staff is friendly, place is cool and food is a mix of Italian and Spanish plates. Average price, not so cheap for steak
