Great stay overall! The hotel is right in the city center but still quiet which was perfect. Only downside was the bathroom layout. You have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet which was a bit odd.

A lovely small boutique experience in the heart of Alicante. Very quiet and safe and welcoming. Staff make a hotel and the manager and his team here make this a personal experience. Is the hotel perfect in every way, not to every taste, but if you interact with the staff you can feel the love for the hotel and the city. It's the quirks which make a place uniquely perfect!!! We will be back....

The roof terrace was a wonderful space to relax. My room was huge, beautifully furnished and very comfortable, although I found the huge portraits rather creepy. It was great to have refills for coffee and tea on the landing. I found this hotel a little too historic for my taste although the location was superb.

Fab location, but what really made this place fantastic was the friendly staff. Lots of recommendations, luggage storage, little sweets, lots of smiles. You won't regret booking here if you are looking for a place in Alicante

the staff is very nice that they are willing to changing the room for us as my assigned room is much smaller than expected and we felt uncomfortable with the room.

Great stay, very nice and stylish hotel, kind staff that is always willing to help and keeps an eye on special occasions like your birthdays or anniversaries. Great location, close to everything you need to visit. Has a great rooftop, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or just whatever you actually want. Stayed here twice and definitely would stay here next time when I’m in Alicante.

Service of really good. Staff at reception was friendly and helpful. It is bit difficult to get a bus for this location, bus from airport to alicante goes ever 20 mins but it charges double the local bus rate. If you are using a hired car then All good.

I had a lovely, relaxing break this hotel, the location was a little inconvenient, couldn’t get the city centre hotel for my dates, apart from that I’m thoroughly pleased, think this is my 4th or 5th b b hotel stay.

Location was good, near hotel bus stop (2 minutes) so comfortable. Room was not bad but with this view u can forget about everything)) it’s something amazing

Clean rooms, friendly service, and a sea view from the window. A beautiful wake-up call to the sunrise. A wonderful rest.

Great checking, clean room, free parking, reasonable price

Arriving after midnight this hotel was a good option. I was able to self check-in, using the codes provided. The airport bus stops 6 minutes away, so the transfer was not a problem. The room was compact, clean, quiet & comfortable. A good buffet breakfast was included. The staff were efficient & friendly. Lots to recommend.

Just an overnight stay between trains and planes, property was good location for us, but 15 min walk to the front, staff were helpful and even had breakfast 10 min earlier than we should so we could get bus to airport

The free breakfast was nice. The no lift situation was not great but I can deal with it. What isn’t cool is the property advertised as free parking when there isn’t any parking at all. IF (and it’s a big IF) you can find street parking, that’s free in some areas depending on the painted color on the street. Central location , but disappointed. Very disappointed that our room had four flights of stairs ( 80 year old pensioners), and all the lower rooms had younger people in them. There was 9 rooms and only 4 tables for breakfast, we had to stand eating our breakfast until one table was free. The water never got hot , ended up have a wash down in the morning. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We couldn't spend the night in the hotel because of a flight cancellation, even though the management allowed us to use the installation to get refreshed in the morning and even have breakfast afterwards. This is a great location. I wish the AC unit was in a different location. It made my sister freeze but then I was hot.

It feels like a cheap hotel, independently of its price. Horrible smell in the room and corridors from the electric air freshener they have on the ceilings. Besides, it blinks bright green all the time. This smell mixes with the smell of mold. Loud at night. No rug in the bathroom Small fridge Hairdryer Only one towel per person. Food amazing. No faults. As we were there on the last day of the year my friends and I were ordering a few drinks expecting to pay for them. Mortified when the bill came and they were included in the price of the meal. Would certainly go again if they allow me.

Currently staying here and cannot fault the room. We are staying in the premier junior suite and it's just beautiful with a marina view. However I have one complaint! The staff in the restaurant and bar are just miserable and so unorganised. We never get asked if we want coffee, never mind if we want anything off the menu! and as for getting. Ice it's like asking for a pot of gold! I even got refused...

Just returned from a 7 day holiday at Suites Del Mar. We have visited this hotel many times and have always found the services facilities and the location excellent. However on our recent visit we were very disappointed with a few of the changes that have been made after the recent upgrade work completed at the first floor pool area. Really nice hotel! I checked in for a few nights into a suite on the fourth floor which had amazing views over the harbour and sea. The suite was beautiful - massive space, excellent features, very clean, very comfortable (and huge!) bed. Was only briefly at the pool, which was very nice. Poolside drinks/food menu was ok. Lovely hotel right by the port. Our room was the junior suite and it had a magnificent view of the sea and the beach. I would recommend a room facing the water as the port side can get very crowded and loud at night. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Two little pools. Love this Location so Close to airport and at the Begining of the city. Very peaceful environment with private car park. With a Cafe below just makes it a very relaxing place from the noise of the city. Great for those who love a quite and relaxing time

it’s a nice hotel, the room wasn’t special but pretty big for the price. the pool is really nice and wasn’t full at all when we were there. you can get to the city center by bus and the beach is also really close! also i would recommend visiting the parc which is about a 10 minute walk and sooo nice

My partner and I stayed in Apartamentos Plaza from last Monday till Friday, yesterday. We were so impressed with the apartment. We were met by the owner on arrival. A very friendly helpful lady. The apartment was perfect. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers. Fully equipped kitchen, with cooker, microwave, Washing machine and fridge freezer, large lounge with 2 sofa's and a small balcony. The place was just OK nothing spectacular. Air conditioning only in the living room sleep less nights because of the heat and noise- neighbours very noisy- few times someone was ringing the door bell in the middle of the night. For the price was expecting bit more compared to the previous apartament we stayed in Alicante.

We (a family of 6 with grown up kids)spent 10 days in Apartamentos plaza. The beds are very comfortable but I had to ask for extra pillows (which I got without delay) . The flat is very central and we walked with pleasure to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We were able to relax in A/C when necessary.
