I had a really nice and pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very nice, we had a sea view suite, the balcony was really big, I think because the room is at a corner so the balcony was L-shaped so it was very long and big balcony, the hotel is right at the sea front, so when I sat at the balcony and looked right at the sea , I felt like I was on a ship, the room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, it is just flawless. The jacuzzi and sauna was also very nice, though there were 2 occasions when I went to the sauna, it wasn’t turned on and it was such a big disappointment. The hotel provides towels at the swimming pool but there is no clear sign and indication of where to get a towel, so might need to go inside the restaurant bar to ask. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly, breakfast and dinner were delicious though buffet breakfast selection was a bit limited, the location of the hotel is very central, and very close to the Sandy beach, it is a very nice hotel I would definitely recommend it.

Stayed in a premium junior suite with sea view that had two small cramped balconies that never got the sun so very disappointed. As a previous person has mentioned the service in the restaurant is very poor and the wait at breakfast for anything from the menu is atrocious. The hotel itself is spotless and the housekeeping staff are great. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Currently staying here and cannot fault the room. We are staying in the premier junior suite and it's just beautiful with a marina view. However I have one complaint! The staff in the restaurant and bar are just miserable and so unorganised. We never get asked if we want coffee, never mind if we want anything off the menu! and as for getting. Ice it's like asking for a pot of gold! I even got refused one time. Very let down and has put us off even having a drink in the bar at night. On a positive note the housekeeping staff are excellent and always have a smile and a hello whenever we see them. Maybe they need to replace the bar and restaurant staff?

Just returned from a girls weekend in Alicante . What a beautiful hotel this is . On arrival a couple of the rooms were ready so we could check in . Couldn’t believe the size of the suite and the bath in the window was an added luxury .so easy to walk to the centre . All of the staff were outstanding especially the lady at the restaurant Nuria .. an absolute gem .. we were treat like royalty and had the best time . Breakfast was another level … nothing at all could be faulted even cava and we had our own little vip area .highly recommend staying here

Just returned from a 7 day holiday at Suites Del Mar. We have visited this hotel many times and have always found the services facilities and the location excellent. However on our recent visit we were very disappointed with a few of the changes that have been made after the recent upgrade work completed at the first floor pool area. The smaller pool and sun bathing area is now not exclusive to Suites Del Mar guests and now feels crammed and is hard to get a sun lounger which meant we ended up going to the beach most days. The breakfast area that has been moved from the first floor where Suites Del Mar guests used to eat which has now been moved outside the dining area on the ground floor again does not feel exclusive even if there is a small menu on the table which allows you to order an omelet or the choice of another few items. Don’t think it was worth the extra cost for the room at Suites Del Mar when the equivalent room at Spa Porta Maris costs a lot less. It would have been nice to be informed about the changes prior to our visit this year .. JH

The breakfast and the snacks (ceasar salad...kinda... picture attached) we tried were disappointing. Both the variety and the quality need improvement. Javier (?) the front manager didn't let us check out late at 18h regardless their advertisement of late check out option. This way he traded off a satisfied actual guest to a non existing one he was still wanted to sell our room to (at 4 pm for the actual night...pfff). Probably worth the risk to have actual 70 EUR income for late check out and a satisfied guest than a 250 EUR income from a hoped but never came future guest...

Really nice hotel! I checked in for a few nights into a suite on the fourth floor which had amazing views over the harbour and sea. The suite was beautiful - massive space, excellent features, very clean, very comfortable (and huge!) bed. Was only briefly at the pool, which was very nice. Poolside drinks/food menu was ok. Breakfast was very nice indeed - very generous selection. Staff were very polite and helpful. Location is fantastic, the views are great and you're in a great location.

Lovely hotel right by the port. Our room was the junior suite and it had a magnificent view of the sea and the beach. I would recommend a room facing the water as the port side can get very crowded and loud at night. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Two little pools. I would definitely return here.

Last minute booking via jet2. Arriving at 1pm our sea view suite 327 was ready, wow what a suprise, huge lounge/ bedroom, great bathroom and separate shower even a working bath by the window overlooking the sea. Huge spotless bed bug free bed, daily room service, great continental hot cold buffet breakfast, gym pools, sauna,, bar closes at 1030but we used the melia hotel next doors extensive bar and lounges 50 metres away as all the same company and open till 1am. Old Town 10minute walk, Castle entrance 5 minutes, lots of small excellent restaurants and bars all inside a short walk radius . Cannot fault the suites at all and going back in June (bookdirect and own flights) saves€250 but join melia rewards for deals. Highly recommended spotlessly clean place with lovely happy staff

Amazing all round! Had the sea view suite which overlooked the pool and gave incredible views of the sea and morning sunrise, staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and incredibly comfortable (think I need to look into what pillows they have as I am not sure I can live without them now)
