Oak Ray La Ella Breeze - Ella in Ella

A very lovely place I liked it so much and had a great time. Everything was clear and well organized, and the service and atmosphere were excellent. My sisters and I requested many things from the hotel, and they were always quick to help, which we really appreciated.

The location is great, right in the middle of Sri Lanka’s stores, making it very convenient. On top of that, the rooms were super clean, beautiful, and very comfortable.

The only issue I faced as a Muslim was the food. There was pork on one side of the buffet, which made me feel uncomfortable eating from it. However, halal food options were still available.

I would especially like to mention one of the servers, Ruxantha, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He assisted us around the hotel and made us feel very comfortable and welcome, unlike some other hotels we stayed at during our trip.

The best thing about this hotel is their location which is in the heart of Ella city & their huge balcony where you can enjoy your cup of coffee. There are multiple eateries and shops for clothes and souvenirs & also active night life if you like to take a stroll at night.
Moreover it’s close to most tourist attractions in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay there. Staff is very friendly & helpful especially their manager Ajay. Food is also nice & everyone is welcoming. They also gave us a present at the time of departure as a goodwill gesture.

The hotel is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The food was delicious and of high Quality.
The staff were friendly and professional, which made our stay very pleasant.

Wesome stay in ella. wish we could have more time! Staff and management wonderful and could not do enough. The location was perfect in the heart of the town .rooms apacious and lovely to dip out feet in and watch the crowded streets with buses and tuk tuk
.Rukantha and the rest of the hotel staff were absolutey lovely . Very chatty . Always asking about our adventures and how aur day was going . I shared a room for two on the top floor ..the view was absolutely stunning .especially once sunset hit. Ella town just lights up in the dark. We only stayed the one night and two days.but very nice place to say the least

We had the Sri Lankan spear here and the food was excellent. Better…far better than what we see in regular menu. The service provided by sushantha and his team was great. They explained everything to us.

We are all a vegetarians. But the spread was large and kept us fully satiated.

I stayed at this hotel in Ella for three nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff is truly exceptional — warm, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I felt welcome and well taken care of from the very first moment. The hotel itself is beautiful: the location is great, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and everything is maintained with great care. A special thank you goes to the hotel manager, who helped me tremendously when my transport to Colombo got cancelled unexpectedly. He organized everything quickly, communicated with the driver for me, and made sure I got safely to my destination. His support left a very positive and lasting impression. Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel. It’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for, and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the whole team for such a great stay!
