The hotel has incredibly beautiful views, the windows overlook the cliff, the jungle, tea plantations. The breakfast is good, hearty. The staff is very responsive, always ready to help. It's cool at night, so ask for extra blankets.
The only downside is the pedestrian road to the hotel, as half of it is on concrete, the other half is on the ground, where there are leeches in the wet season, they have time to stick to you in 4 minutes of walking.
The hotel can only be reached by tuk-tuk along a narrow road, the staff kindly gave us a ride to the car on the day of our departure.
I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

The main challenge is the entry road. Each time you have to spend LKR 500 while entering/coming out of the hotel. Staffs behavior was great, stunning view (if sky is clear). One more suggestion, they should change their room amenities, towels and shower staffs are of local standards. I will suggest the hotel if you are young, energetic, adventurous and obviously without kids. Otherwise it will be a challenge. Owner is an excellent behaved guy, he does his best to serve you. I suggest they should work on the entrance road. It gives a bad impression at the first look.

I stayed for a week as a solo traveller. Breathtaking views from all the rooms and restaurant. Staff amazingly helpful. Very comfy bed! I stayed for a week and the breakfast was different every day. A tuktuk transfer from station was good too.

The hotel is located on the rock side, and cars cannot access the property directly. However, the hotel provides a tuk-tuk service for transfers between the main road and the accommodation. The room rates are quite reasonable. The staff are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service. The dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was well-prepared and enjoyable. Overall, everything was great!

A small but very clean B&B with a scenic view of Ella Rock and funky restaurant interiors plus yummy breakfast. Arranged a pedestal fan for me instantly when I requested. Roads outside are not good but I think that would be an issue for most B&Bs in the location plus they have a shortcut leading to the main road.

Excellent room, clean and spacious with a marvelous view. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. They advised us also regarding visiting the highlights in Ella and the transport to our next destination. Breakfast outstanding changing day by day. We loved our stay very much.

Great two night stay here at the rock side inn. Fantastic view from the room and the dinner area. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast was yummy and tasty. Short walk into town. Would definitely recommend.

You should totally stay here in Ella! We had an amazing time with our group of 13, and the staff really took care of everyone. Most rooms have awesome mountain views, and it's super close to the city center, just a short walk. Plus, the free breakfast was delicious!

What truly set them apart was their honesty and helpfulness. One of our friends accidentally left their wallet behind; the staff found it, called us immediately, and even couriered it to our next stop. Such amazing, polite, and friendly people.

On a bend many steps to hotel. Hotel can help with bags. Large family room good beds. Shower took ages to heat but good. Great upstairs social verandah

I truly loved the view from our hotel room: verdant mountains, birdsong, and the soothing sound of a nearby stream — it really felt like being in the heart of nature. The receptionist and two staff members kindly carried all six of our suitcases up several flights of stairs to our rooms. Overall, everything was excellent.
