Stayed for a night after landing in Colombo. Hasini checked us in and was very friendly and welcoming; we were given all the information we would need during our stay. The hotel isn't very big, and there's only one pool, but it wasn't crowded. Breakfast had limited options, though there were several curry dishes. A fantastic hotel right on the beach. We had a wonderful room with a view of the sea. A beautiful garden with a huge pool. The warm and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. We’d particularly like to mention Tarushi, Ahinsa and Thejani. We’ll never forget their service.

The service was excellent, warm but not overly so. The environment is right by the sea, quiet and secluded, with a lagoon for swimming. The lagoon is full of small fish, occasionally some of them brightly colored. The infinity pool faces the southern Indian Ocean.

I booked this hotel for my parents. They are in their 50s. They said, We enjoyed a lot. Staff was so nice and kind. There were side events on Saturday. Food was great. The room is not like in the photos. We couldn’t see the sea from the bed. But the room was comfortable and all that. We will go there again.

The room initially had a rather musty smell, so I informed the staff. They quickly resolved the situation and replaced me with a new room. I was very impressed with the beautiful view and the ocean view. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back if I have the chance.

Very nice resort hotel, there is a beach behind the hotel. There is no place to hike around the hotel. The only place you can go is a turtle conservation base more than one kilometer to the left along the beach behind the hotel. You can see turtles and relax in the hotel for the rest of the time.

My room was pleasant. It was a reasonable size, with a comfortable bed. The foyer and seating areas always seemed crowded. The only place to relax was at the pool. Pedestrian access to the hotel is problematic. It is surrounded by busy roads and crossing them is not for the faint hearted.

The hotel is located by the lake and has preserved the original plants and stones. It is a very unique building and worth staying in. The breakfast is also very rich. The hotel is quite far to go, so it is recommended to eat directly in the hotel or buy things to bring in before entering the hotel, otherwise it will take at least half an hour to go out and back.

I stayed in an ocean-view luxury room. It was quiet, the view was splendid, and the room itself was immaculately clean, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. One of the best hotel and food was amazing

Hotels in Sri Lanka generally have low value for money, and most of the well-known heritage hotels have outdated facilities. In comparison, Golden Crown is a relatively new hotel with fairly complete facilities. The location is good and the lobby decoration is very unique. It happened to be Valentine's Day when we checked in, and red balloons were placed on the bed, which was very warm.

This was my second time at The Owl and the Pussycat and it was even better this year than last. The standard of accommodation, the food and drinks were all we could have wanted.
