The room facilities and hygiene were fine. But the real selling point is the environment! Built into the mountain, it's truly beautiful! You could spend a whole day just exploring the hotel grounds; it's much more worthwhile than the surrounding attractions!

The Kanchana Restaurant offers an extensive buffet with a variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes, all while providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently demonstrated attentiveness and professionalism, ensuring that every aspect of our visit was comfortable and memorable. Heritance Kandalama is more than just a hotel; it's an experience that celebrates the harmony between luxury and nature.

Great architecture and common area, and integration with its surrounding nature. However, the building showed its age and the room is on the smaller side. 

Beautiful resort. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated but authentic to the architect. Would like to see the rooms updated a bit but still 100% worth it and would stay here again as is.

Although a little far from sigiriya, but beautiful view with lake and hill,also can see the lion rock.There are many local food in breakfast,everything everywhere make you relaxed.
