Beautiful hotel, friendly helpful staff. The room was very nice and loved the swimming pool, which had a resort type feel. The food was good and overall we had a really great experience and recommend it to stay at.

The sanitation is poor. The bedside cabinets are covered with dust. The quilts and pillows look old and dirty. Fortunately, I brought disposable pillowcases. This is the worst of our entire trip. The chicken and shrimp for dinner were so old that I couldn't bite them.

Not far from Yala Park, near Lake Tisser, the scenery is beautiful. The hotel is cost-effective, the dinner is rich, and they will pack breakfast for you if you get up early to go on safari.

The hotel is located on the Bentota coastline in Sri Lanka. The balcony offers ocean views, and the fine sandy beach is perfect for swimming and strolling. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is plentiful, and the ocean view rooms offer beautiful scenery!

Instead of one large bed there were two small beds pushed together, the flower bed at the exit from the room to the street was full of trash and without flowers, unlike the neighboring flower beds.

When I booked, I didn't realize it was for one person. Trip.com said an extra person would be $10, but when I got there, they charged $70. The hotel didn't honor Trip.com's price at all. The hotel itself is quite good though; it's just a few steps to the beach and located in Colombo's best and safest area.

We stayed for 6 days and we were really looked after. The fact that they grow there own food and therefore was sustainable was a plus. We did have to request for the room to be cleaned. Our allocated butler was a bonus as Yashodara really was great, she made sure we were okay everyday. She also came with on a trip around Shri Lanka.

Tri is simply stunning. We had two sunset rooms, one with plunge pool for our 3 kids under 11. We spent the afternoons by or in the amazing pool and then used the hotel as a launch pad to get to the beach in Weligama for surfing, Ahangama, Kabbalana and Thalpe for restaurants, all within 15-20 mins. Beautiful villa full of peacocks up a hill from trendy/surfy Ahangama. The staff were lovely and friendly with our kids who enjoyed learning about cinnamon trees and playing with the house doggie. The food was amazing also!! Recommend
