Honestly, this kind of setup made me feel a bit tense and unable to relax. I was looking forward to the sea view when I woke up, but the weather wasn't great that day; neither the sky nor the sea were very blue
The advantage of the large floor-to-ceiling windows wasn't really utilized, which was a bit disappointing. After leaving the hotel, the street outside was full of tuk-tuks, emitting a strong diesel smell
We arrived in the middle of the night, and as soon as we entered the hotel, there were two layers of security checks: first, military personnel with sniffer dogs, and then the hotel's own security
The hotel facilities are great, but the atmosphere was a bit tense. Overall, the hotel itself is good; the rooms and service are all up to par. However, this experience felt a bit strange

Shang Palace is as delicious as ever, and the chef even came out to greet us, which was lovely! Our room faced the sea, and we enjoyed two beautiful sunsets! The second floor has direct access to the mall, with all the tourist-favorite brands located near the hotel
Five star hotel in Galle Road. Have a nice open wedding hall. Service is great. Food is good and tasty. Valet parking available. Clean and well maintained. Supportive and friendly staff.
Great experience nothing much to add.. had a rain calamity which exposed the age of the property but the hotel did well to resolve it to satisfaction.

Check in was very smooth and staff was very helpful and excellent service delivery. We had an early morning check out, they have arranged a nice breakfast. Room was very nice with very good view
My room was quite large for a single occupant, with good view of galle face and the ocean beyond. I only had breakfast at the hotel which had nice spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.
It was 8 degree. Different experience. I'd been sailing in the lake for over 2 hours. Great fun. Tasty food add more value to it

Located in the prime place of Colombo. Beach facing hotel and you can walk across the road to beach. Sea food especially prawns were very good. Big swimming pool with good maintenance
The best part was the beach itself it felt like a private one for the hotel, peaceful and not crowded at all. Perfect place to relax and unwind
We stayed at Koggala Long Beach Resort for our office annual trip (38 pax, full board, beach-view rooms). Room rates were reasonable, food was very good as they operate as a 3-star hotel and staff service was excellent
The hotel has two swimming pools which were clean and relaxing, and the beautiful beach right in front is perfect for sunset walks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always with a smile
The location was very beautiful, adjuscent to the sea. The sight of the sea was welcoming. We booked a suite for 4 persons. The view of the see from the room was fantastic
With our request of change the room (for better sight of the sea). they cleaned another room very quickly. Nishantha on attending to this is commendable. Anyway, 'earler the better' rule is applicable to the buffet
Amazing Stay at Long Beach Resort! I had a good experience at Long Beach Resort. The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely marvelous with a great variety to choose from
The sandy beach is gently sloping, the sea is warm, and the water is clear. You'll see a lot of families and children on the beach. It's definitely a family-friendly hotel, with about 80% Russian guests
We absolutely loved the Araliya Hotel. It's a great hotel with a fantastic beach, sand, and sea
It has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all have sea views. The bathroom is also quite large. Nearby, there's a street with restaurants and shops offering good prices
They have excellent sun loungers exclusively for guests, and the beachfront area is guarded, so you don't have to worry about outsiders taking them. The beach bar/restaurant is superb, with excellent service
They always have cold beer, delicious cocktails, fresh fruit, and fish. Every day, they'd bring out freshly caught tuna and announce it to the whole beach, which was quite a highlight

Environment: Strong Christmas atmosphere, and there's always live performances in the lobby, which is amazing! In the morning after breakfast, I saw a young man playing the piano, and in the evening, there was a band playing

In parting, we were not charged in the bar for cocktails - a gift from the hotel to friends)), the Reception is also courteous and attentive, there was a delay in transfer and it was seen as sincerely worried about the discrepancy

Views from any sea-facing room is incredible for its price - slight blocking with 2 towers in front but you can get a better unblocked view if you go for Premium tier rooms
He took the time to explain the differences between each tier, accommodated to my budget constraints, and brought me to each room (empty ones of course) for a viewing before committing to an upgrade
A fantastic hotel right on the beach. We had a wonderful room with a view of the sea. A beautiful garden with a huge pool. The warm and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable
We had a wonderful family vacation at the Fortress. We enjoyed everything: the room, pool, beach, gym and delicious food and drinks
Nalin and Namal kept the room well stocked and immaculate. The pool guys looked after all our needs around the pool area and the sun beds were very comfortable

Both rooms we booked had great sea views. The beach was perfect for a stroll; the waves were gentle, and it only took a few minutes to walk to the beach. Compared to other attractions, I preferred staying at the hotel

The beach is uncrowded, but busy with local "helpers," and there's virtually nowhere to go outside the grounds. On the plus side, the breakfast is decent. At around $300 a night, it's not worth the money
The service was really good, and the guy who gave the red envelopes had a really warm smile. His smile can really make people happy. I just learned to swim not long ago, and I am super obsessed with the swimming pool

The rooms could be upgraded, and the swimming pool requires attention as many tiles are damaged and need fixing

Dammi's aqua aerobics classes are especially fantastic. I did it first time - it's very interesting and fun activity. Dammi is always smiling and very friendly with all guests. I am very pleased with the hotel

My friends had wonderful 15nights at Cinnamon bey Beruwala. Highly recommend to everyone. They organised small cake on my friend's birthday and room decorated with suprise. Really amazing! Thank you for everything!
On the downside, the reading light was broken, there were no bathroom slippers or robes, and the shampoo, lotion, and conditioner bottles were made of ceramic. If these ceramic bottles break, they could cause injury
All the staff were friendly, kids activity center is a plus and the surroundings were very spacious and pleasant. The rooms were good, and I would definitely recommend their service, giving it a double thumbs up

All beaches in Sri Lanka state, so often swimming in the ocean, you can meet locals who offer some trips or just a trip to the city
First, I must say the staff here is amazing. They were friendly and helpful from the moment we called to make the reservation, especially Miss Senaya at the front desk, who went out of her way to assist us

The front desk was super nice and suggested that we upgrade to the ocean side instead of the railway side, because the railway side is a little noisy when the train passes by

I recently stayed at Vivanta Colombo Airport Gardens and had a mixed experience. The pool area is absolutely fabulous, offering a great place to relax
Fully accessible if you have reduced mobility, a quick ride from the airport and full of the hospitality and charm that Sri Lanka is known for. The grounds are beautiful and the food at breakfast was delightful
However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, especially given the disappointing room view which was just overlooking buildings, contrary to the picturesque images advertised
I particularly liked that there was a giant superstore right opposite the entrance, perfect for picking up things you might have forgotten on your way there or goodies for your trip back
The food exceeded my expectations, with wonderful flavors and a good variety. The staff were notably attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience
However, the service does need some improvement. The contact numbers provided, even within the room, were not functioning properly, which made it difficult to reach room service or other hotel services when needed
Especially the Sanjaya cafe employee and the senior receptionist Dilshan Thilakarathne, whom you can turn to for help at any time and at any time

There were some stains on the bed linen, but apparently it just couldn't be washed out, I found one or two
Environment: Beautiful environment, facing the swimming pool and the beach. The sand on the beach is very fine, so you can go without shoes without worrying about the pain
The price is also quite reasonable. They also provide a cool parking solution as well where you can actually use are to use a lift to park your vehicle in the basement. The staff is quite friendly as well
Narrow but beautiful street where the hotel is located. Lift facility for car parking. I parked my bicycle there and itbwas safe to park there. Staff very cooperative and always with smiling face

Other places like Galle Face Mall one od thr largest mall here was also nearby. Each tourist place was well within the reach from here. Hospitality was quite good and i had no issue while staying here
We stayed as a family with an elderly member and a child, and took two rooms. The rooms were super clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and we had a really good night’s sleep
The service was top-notch, providing us with tremendous support and assistance in a crisis situation during our trip
