Went for a dinner dance. The facilities were good. Staff is efficient. But they had to redo ythe dance floor several times. That was very inconvenient. Felt that they were not prepared. Food was average. Welcome drink was too sweet. Not much of a choice for a vegetarian. Soup was not very palatable. So O am not very satisfied. They should make food palatable..

Joined to a high tea buffet with couple of my friends. Environment was great. Made early reservations for the table. Had live piano music which was really good. We stayed 3 nights and it was a nice experience. House keeping were really good. Mr. Lalith helped with food. Malith helped to clean the room. Kishor helped to move our luggages. Two very nice clean pool and sunbeds always available. The downside to this hotel is in my eyes they don't cater for UK citizens. Breakfast is entirely for the many Russian guests.....everything with cabbage and as for the fruit juice....I would love to know what flavour it is supposed to be........ Very good location, you can take a 10 min walk to the beach, but the hotel does not have blankets, so that's something you need to bring for youself if you need a blanket to sleep at night. They only provide a very thin bedsheet.

The hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Food from the hotel kitchen tasted good and was well priced. Rooms were clean and there was a pool just outside my room. It was possible to clearly hear people playing in the pool, or eating by the room, when I was in my room. This was not an issue for me bu if you need more privacy, I would recommend looking for a room further away from the pool.

Maybe it's due to the environmental conditions in Galle, but this place is comparable to a 100-yuan hotel back home.

I really liked the hotel; it's cozy, neat, and clean. I'd especially like to mention the staff; they were very polite, respectful, and customer-focused. Spent a day out at Seaclouds Unawatuna and it was a pretty chill experience. The pool was nice clean and perfect for a relaxing swim. The beach is very good, the ocean is usually calm and peaceful. You can find free sunbeds (for a drink or meal) or paid ones (1500 r), there’s a washroom. But they have to do something with the dogs, they pee and poo on the beach, where kids play. It’s very unhygienic (((

Had a room on the top floor and it was amazing. Balcony over looked the beach. The room looked and felt clean. The cabanas on the beach were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We loved staying here and would come back here anytime.

It was a good stay. The room was comfortable and clean. However, there are a few things that need to be addressed. There are no plug points, except just 2, into which the bedside lamps were plugged in. No place to plug any computer or even a phone charger unless you have a multi socket adapter. Good location but the hotel needs a face lift. AC in the room has a loud sound, safety box was broken. Breakfast is not good and not to be considered as continental.

The streetnoise is a real bother in this hotel as the door of the room is not air tight.During our stay the airconditioning startend to leak in our suitcase; the breakfast is excellent as is the food in general,but mind you: service is extremely slow ( of even forgetfull) If you do decade to stay there take a room on the first Floor so that you have a private bakcony

A good villa if you're planning to stay near a small, clean beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the only drawback is the air conditioning, which blows directly on the beds.

The location has a perfect view of the city, and is in close proximity to Jungle Beach which has a great atmosphere and is a lovely cove with shallow waves to safely enjoy with your family. The closest to you'll get to the wonderful Jungle Beach. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful, with TukTuks, doing our washing and getting the pool ready for our use. The garden is fantastic, as are the views out over the bay. Jungle Baech is a five minute walk away.

The Villa Baywatch is a very small hotel set in the most spectacular gardens. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and an ensuite with shower. They are equipped with tea & coffee making facilities and a fridge. The area is very quiet, a short walk to Jungle Beach and a tuktuk ride to Unawatatuna. There is also a small but essential swimming pool. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is excellent...

The facilities were rather old and didn't feel very clean. It's conveniently located right on the beach, but the weather was bad, so we couldn't experience it. Also, they used old-fashioned three-pronged posts.

The only downside was the toilet not been cleaned well and having to park in a private land opposite the main road which made access to the vehicle a bit of a hassle. Hotel was so nice. Rooms are also as per the pictures. The only issue is with the bathroom, which is stinking slightly after closing it for 10 minutes. Staff were so nice and friendly.

The beach is beautiful, the place is big and comfy, really nice! Food is average. Service is good, waiters are nice. They hold parties on fridays!

Delicious fresh fish in the evening, but all many times more expensive. Put the tables with candles on the beach, but hang over my soul, (Almost always strong wave. Unfortunately, the very loud music from neighbouring hotels stopping to rest.

A wonderful hotel, clean, comfortable, and spacious room with a balcony, friendly and welcoming staff, delicious breakfasts, amazing dinners, and a very convenient location. We stayed here two years ago, so maybe things have changed, but the breakfasts were frankly bad, the rooms were sparse. This isn't a mini-hotel, but a typical guesthouse run by Russians trying to squeeze as much money as possible. After three days, we fled to another hotel. We hope things have improved now.

I stayed here for two weeks, in a Deluxe Room with a balcony, room 21. I loved everything: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, they cleaned it every day, the staff was very polite, and the breakfasts were delicious. Thanks again to the staff for a wonderful stay at this hotel.

Lovely place, up a small hill, surrounded by greenery. The Superior and Deluxe rooms are excellent value, the staff is friendly and helpful. They change mattresses every year--the beds are super comfy, the bathrooms are nice. They could use fluffier pillows--but that's a small thing.Overall excellent value!
