The Lady Hill Hotel in Galle

The rooms were a little snug but the staff were absolutely amazing Thank you 🙏🏽

We only used the Ayurveda full body’ massage Spa. It was so wonderful we returned the next day for another!

The hotel is located up the hill with wonderful view of the garden and harbour. A Very friendly hotel staff. A possibility to order different types of massage at the site. The restaurant is situated at the top of the hotel with almost 360 degrees of view - harbor, ocean… Rooms are clean, spacious, nice cosy balcony. Bathroom is a bit small but fully equipped. A Nice clean swimming pool with pools beds and towels available. Welcome drink and farewell cocktail was very nice. We really recommend this hotel.

Staying at The Lady Hill @ Galle as a first-time visitor to Sri Lanka felt like a soft landing in a new country—and honestly, it set the bar pretty high for my second stop 💛 I stayed two nights and really enjoyed the experience. All the amenities worked smoothly, which made the stay easy and stress-free. While the furniture and décor lean toward the dated side, everything is well maintained and fully functional, giving the place a slightly old-school charm rather than feeling worn out. The room was clean, comfortable, and oh… that view 😍 Waking up to it felt like a quiet little reward every morning. The staff truly stood out—pleasant, polite, and genuinely friendly, always ready with a smile that made me feel welcome. Breakfast isn’t a buffet, but served à la carte instead, and honestly, I didn’t miss the buffet at all. The food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious, with real care put into it. All in all, The Lady Hill @ Galle made my time in Galle feel relaxed, warm, and memorable—a lovely place to pause, breathe, and fall a little more in love with Sri Lanka ✨

A gorgeous villa overlooking all of Galle! It might not be exactly in Galle Fort which many may want, but the views were absolutely stunning, especially from the top floor restaurant and bar. Staff was especially kind and made for a great first stop in Sri Lanka

It's a steep walk up the hill from downtown Galle but we took a tuktuk. Welcomed on arrival by 5 staff members, each keen to make us comfortable. It was a special occasion for us and the staff worked hard to ensure it was special. On arrival, bags were carried, a presentation lily, The building is beautiful with a commanding view over the city. Outdoor pool in a similarly great location. Rooms a slightly quirky style but very well appointed. Food in the rooftop restaurant was good and reasonable value. Drinks were, in my opinion, grossly overpriced and also incorrectly described - a mistake the management refused to correct. When you are going for the top standard, with prices to match, you have to get it right.

A stay on the highest point in Galle. That's the only experience to take away from this hotel. A huge Dutch style mansion nicely crafted onto the hill, giving a wonderful skyline view of Galle and the nearby port. And with a nice infinity pool to go for laps. Also enjoyed the in-house ayurvedic treatment session which I must say is worth all the tiredness from the travel. And food served, is superbly good and more than enough to feel the hungry stomach. What more when dining on the view deck that looks out to the skyline, especially at sunset. Will return for this.

What a fantastic little hotel perched on the hill within an easy 10 minute walk to the Town. We were greeted by lovely friendly staff, who were so friendly and 😃 throughout our 3 day stay. The resteraunt on the 4th floor was so panoramic bthrought the day and night overlooking the bay and part of the Town. The food was delicious and service excellent. I loved this hotel that was full of charm, and felt like a family run hotel, which it is, the owner was a Charming Lady. I would definitely come back to The Lady Hill. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time there, location is perfect, not far to walk into Galle. The hotel is beautiful, breakfast with an amazing view and extraordinary friendly and lovely staff. Also our room was very nice and clean. Very personal atmosphere. We were sad to leave.
