The hotel is amazing! There is a swimming pool with unparalleled sunset views, and hermit crab children can be seen everywhere. The service staff are very nice, and their smiling faces at all times make people feel more friendly. The hotel is amazing! The room is big and tidy, the air conditioner is strong and the beds are very comfortable. Without prior requests, to our surprise, one more bed is arranged for the 3 of us. Gorgeous little hotel nestled into the small town. The staff were all absolutely lovely, the hotel and rooms were all gorgeous, super clean, and comfortable. Absolutely loved our stay here! Extremely clean rooms and beautiful pool area. Staff were so helpful and attentive! Steep hill to get into hotel but ring a bell and within a minute a tuk tuk arrives at the bottom to take you up so it’s no problem at all. So close to all restaurants / bars / cafes. Very good location, you can take a 10 min walk to the beach, but the hotel does not have blankets, so that's something you need to bring for youself if you need a blanket to sleep at night. They only provide a very thin bedsheet.

The hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Food from the hotel kitchen tasted good and was well priced. Rooms were clean and there was a pool just outside my room. It was possible to clearly hear people playing in the pool, or eating by the room, when I was in my room. This was not an issue for me bu if you need more privacy, I would recommend looking for a room further away from the pool.

It was a good stay. The room was comfortable and clean. However, there are a few things that need to be addressed. There are no plug points, except just 2, into which the bedside lamps were plugged in. No place to plug any computer or even a phone charger unless you have a multi socket adapter. The hotel was booked out but the owner was able to find us a room with our own private bathroom. The bathroom was outdoors just around the corner from our bedroom. The beach is beautiful, the place is big and comfy, really nice! Food is average. Service is good, waiters are nice. They hold parties on fridays!

Delicious fresh fish in the evening, but all many times more expensive. Put the tables with candles on the beach, but hang over my soul, (Almost always strong wave. Unfortunately, the very loud music from neighbouring hotels stopping to rest.

The King's Landing was in a perfect location for us. Tucked away just off the busy main street but within an easy walking distance to a couple of beaches. Preferring a quieter life, we spent a lot of time on Jungle Beach. There is a vast selection of eateries nearby as well as shops. As soon as we booked, communication from the hotel was excellent. We stayed in two separate rooms, the big room on the 3rd floor was gorgeous, felt like being up in the jungle. Gorgeous views all round. The pool room was also lovely but as it's ground floor not so much of a view! Cosy small hotel 5 min from the beach, restaurants close by but very quiet in a lush environment. Big bedroom/bathroom/balcony. The staff was very helpful and made our stay special. Excellent breakfast. Can highly recommend it.

A very last minute booking (booked the night before our stay). Fantastic small hotel with just 8 rooms. Slightly more expensive but amazing value as the rooms are gorgeous, bathrooms are to die for (biggest rain shower I’ve ever seen) and the staff were all super friendly and very attentive. We loved staying here! One of the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced, amazing breakfast and the rooms are way nicer than they look at the photos. The bathrooms are incredible - the shower is enourmous! It is also newly renovated, so it’s nice and modern

Amazing hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff who cannnot do enough . Local to centre and easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Great breakfast. Biggest bathroom. Extremely comfy pillows and bed. Clean and tidy rooms. Even got a present after our stay. Would recommend.

We spent three nights at this gorgeous property in a stunning location on the beach. It is close to surf beaches and Galle fort. This is a clean, modern building with a luxurious feel and very attentive, friendly staff. The owner has created a unique experience for guests with a “home from home”, ambiance. Lovely calming and professionally run small boutique hotel. Amazing views yet great location close to Galle and the south coast. Plenty of tuk tuk's along teh main road so you dont wait long (tip get pick me even to verify the price it should be). The food is amazing and the breakfast i will remember for some time. It would have been good to have had a kettle in our room , but afternoon tea was free. Staff were always courteous and helpful. The breakfasts were nice but not up to the standards of some of the other hotels we have stayed in in Sri Lanka . Lovely pool but no swimming off...

The experience could not have been any more perfect. The hotel is located in a beautiful natural beach setting surrounded by palm trees. The architecture and interior design is a mixture of modernism and Sri Lankan chic, every detail considered. One could spend days on the poolside loungers enjoying the vista. The food is top notch, with a top class menu serving all tastes. The staff is just wonderful...
