Excellent experience, service was amazing especially Tharaka in the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

First night in Sri Lanka made very special by a lovely night in Wattura. The staff were lovely and the service excellent. Wish we had stayed longer.

Stayed for only one night , our room was spacious and clean, nice view of the river. Hotel is right on the beach. The staff , whether reception, the restaurant or the bell boy could not have been more helpful and professional, the were brilliant . Food was top notch too. No complaints whatsoever

Beautiful property. Excellent service from all the staff, especially Chathurya! Hotel rooms could be better maintained. The restaurant is good, but after 6 days, it gets tiresome to eat at the same place.

We stayed here for just one night the day before our flight home. It's about 30minutes from the airport. What an absolutely perfect stay before we headed home! Everything is calm and relaxing. Our room (garden suite) was very large (as was the bathroom) with ample storage and we had our own garden area leading to the river. There is a small beach, empty and calm. It was a refreshing change after a busy beach hotel. We had head and neck massages - very high quality and in a lovely environment. The evening meal was excellent. The courses were generous and we were disappointed we couldn't manage to eat it all! The layout of the restaurant is very private, with individual alcoves. Staff are friendly, attentive and made sure we were happy during our stay, Unfortunately we had to leave quite early for our flight the following morning and I'm sure the breakfast would also have been a high standard. They did kindly provide us with a breakfast parcel for us to eat at the airport. We would loved to have stayed longer and it will definitely be on our list when we return. Thank you!

Nice place , good food and good times. Chathurya helped us a lot and serve nicely. Love the service. My kids were enjoyed the water park and pool lot.

This is a great resort with extraordinarily kind and professional service. Especially Tharaka and Chaturya at the restaurant are worth mentioning — they were very attentive and remembered our preferences even though we stayed only for three nights. Devaka, who organizes truly interesting boat trips, and Sakuni at the front desk were also excellent. Thank you! The hotel is beautifully located between the Indian Ocean and the Gin Oya River, in a serene and peaceful surrounding. The grounds are spacious and well maintained, and there were not that many guests during our stay, which made it easy to relax and gave a real sense of freedom and privacy. The hotel restaurant is great, with marvelous dinners in particular — very tasty, well presented, and enjoyable every evening. The spa is also highly recommended, as the massages are very professional and genuinely relaxing. As for the negatives, some parts of the property are starting to wear out, such as bathroom taps, showers, sofas, and other details. Renovations should take place soon — otherwise the luxury feel of the hotel may slowly fade.

Waiters **Lehan** and **Pasindu** took wonderful care of us, explaining each dish with professionalism and warmth, and making sure every moment at the table was comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place – it’s where gastronomy becomes art, and every guest feels truly special from start to finish.

Wonderful from the beginning to end. Great rooms water on every side and a magnificent pool. Breakfast is sumptuous no buffet but a great selection of dishes. The Sri Lankan and Indian breakfasts were stunning. We also had a beautiful dinner accompanied by a fun family band. All the team were excellent it would be unfair to name just one. I love it that the GM gets in and helps the team.
