The infinity pool overlooking the mountains is simply beautifk, the service is exceptional, and the cuisine overs a variety of Sri Lankan and International dishes.. The Community House is an architectural gem - minimalist, calm, and perfectly in harmony with nature and the surrounding fauna. Our Yoga sessions in the shala while monkeys jumped through the trees and feasted on jackfruit nearby - priceless. A special thank you to Shashi and Osander who were great ambassadors of the Santani Resort. Food, staff, and facilities were unbeatable. An unforgettable stay and a flawless wellness experience.

The cuisine alone deserves special mention - based on the Ayurveda principle of Rasa Haya ( six tastes) and far from restrictive, every meal feels considered, balanced, and delicious. The spa is exceptional, not just for the treatments, but for the way it integrates nature and silence into the experience. You hear birds, wind through the trees, and monkeys playing in the jungle. Sleep comes easily, and by the second day, you realise how much tension you were carrying without knowing it. Santani doesn’t feel like an escape. I’ve traveled around the world, stayed at different hotels and resorts but nothing is like Santani Wellness. From staff, services, food, spa, yoga instructor (Rahul) and the restaurants (the Chef, its whole team and Shashi are amazingly friendly, they all made me feel I’m one of their family members). Santani is a truly special wellness retreat. Located in the hills near Kandy and surrounded by nature, it is incredibly peaceful from the moment you arrive. I stayed for five nights on the Detox programme and found it very well structured and genuinely personalised. The Ayurvedic doctor is outstanding — attentive, knowledgeable and deeply involved in tailoring the treatments, nutrition and daily routine to your needs. The therapists and yoga sessions were equally excellent. The food deserves special mention. Every meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavour and incredibly nourishing, making the detox both enjoyable and sustainable. Where to begin with this magical place. The truest definition of luxury, personalized service and remarkable service. The setting is heaven, the food was unrivalled, each and every staff member knew everything about our treatment programs and were always available to help.

This is the most peaceful luxury place you can imagine. This a place where you rebalance all you sences. The more days you are here the slower you walk. Whereever you are in the resort you are part of the nature. We did a week full of treatments - healthy food and daily yoga and massage. Everything is extremly well delivered. Shashi, Kanishski, the fantastic chefs and everyone else in the restaurant made sure every meal was a special experience. Dr Nadeesha and her spa team and yoga master Rahul made sure we now are leaving in best possible condition.

What an amazing experience it was to stay at Santani, from the moment we checked in we felt very relaxed and taken care of. The resort is in the middle of nature and tea plantations and it’s a great place to disconnect. Amazing interior designs and architecture, as well as food (we had the choice of western / Sri Lankan meals everyday). Loved the consultation with the Ayurvedic doctor, we found out so much about ourselves and our body types.
