Our stay at the resort was fabulous and incredibly relaxing. The wellness meals with gourmet touch with delicious and the staff very professional and helpful, including the ayuvedan spa, with special thanks to the amazing Dr Sahini, the masseuses and the inspiring yoga master Saman. Overall, we had a wonderful, restful stay and would gladly come back!

I’ve been to 56 countries but never been to a place like this. If you’re looking to escape from fast life to recharge and recover this is the place. If you feel like you need a brake but you don’t know what can heal your body and soul the team at Santani will give you an answer and help you. Breathing views everywhere. I especially loved pool villa with gives you maximum privacy overlooking mountains. You can have yoga on the top of the hill and you eat every meal with 180” panoramic view. Talking about restaurant-no wonder it’s on Michelin Guide. Everyday chef would discuss with you your meals that are tailored to your needs. I wish I could pack the chef in my suitcase-I definitely miss those culinary art. Another amazing part is the wellness. I had a chance to try few of the signature massages-from herbal oils, hot stamping, milk, shirodhara-and all that happens in private rooms with open view to the nature. Imagine having spa heating all the birds and nature around you-this is exactly it. I especially loved massages by Damita. After spa you will get a herbal tea at the chill zone and you can use hot pool, steam or sauna to finish your relaxation. Dr Nadeesha is so professional-you will meet her on your arrival and discuss your health. She will help you find out the best solutions to help your mind and soul. I loved also yoga with Saman. He have an amazing knowledge and is there to help you heal yourself. He know exactly what bothers you without asking. I’m not a morning person but I loved to wake up for the morning 7am yoga which happens twice a day for those who like to sleep longer. He also does healing sessions one on one which are really something worth experiencing. Nanda sir was very helpful from reception. Actually everyone working in Santani is amazing. Loved the gardeners who every morning greeted me which huge smile making my day instantly great. I will be for sure back. One more important thing-I traveled alone and that was the best solo trip I ever did. I had my privacy and peace but I felt taken care of fully and not alone. Thank you Santani!

I can honestly say that Santani Wellness Resort & Spa is the best wellness retreat I’ve ever been to. It has completely set the bar so high that I feel like everywhere else I now go will struggle to compare. The staff are incredible — so attentive, warm, and genuinely caring without ever being over the top. The food was also a standout: nourishing, beautifully prepared, and something I looked forward to every day. A personal highlight for me was the yoga, especially with Saman. I’m so grateful for his sessions as I’ve never had that much time dedicated to yoga before, and he was brilliant. It’s one thing I’ll genuinely take home from the experience and incorporate into my life as best as I can. I couldn’t recommend Santani and Saman more highly — it’s something really special.

Santani is truly a magical experience. The care and attention the staff give to you is impeccable. They are friendly with excellent due diligence. The food was tailor made to our requirements and the wellness aspect was mind blowing. We felt truly rejuvenated and healthy. Dr Nadeesha’s acupuncture was an additional fantastic holistic treatment which really boosted our wellbeing. We really recommend the acupuncture to remain a core feature and the entire experience for those seeking a change and a reset.

Santani Wellness in Kandy is simply outstanding. The property is beautifully designed, stunningly located, and entirely focused on peace, wellness, treatments, and yoga. The infinity pool overlooking the mountains is simply beautifk, the service is exceptional, and the cuisine overs a variety of Sri Lankan and International dishes.. The Community House is an architectural gem - minimalist, calm, and perfectly in harmony with nature and the surrounding fauna. Our Yoga sessions in the shala while monkeys jumped through the trees and feasted on jackfruit nearby - priceless. A special thank you to Shashi and Osander who were great ambassadors of the Santani Resort. Food, staff, and facilities were unbeatable. An unforgettable stay and a flawless wellness experience.

Set high in the hills outside Kandy, the stillness is intentional, and it works almost immediately on both body and mind. What sets Santani apart is how thoughtfully everything is designed. There is no background music, no forced schedules, no distractions. Instead, you are guided gently through personalised wellness consultations, beautifully sequenced treatments, yoga and meditation, and food that is genuinely nourishing yet deeply satisfying. The cuisine alone deserves special mention - based on the Ayurveda principle of Rasa Haya ( six tastes) and far from restrictive, every meal feels considered, balanced, and delicious. The spa is exceptional, not just for the treatments, but for the way it integrates nature and silence into the experience. You hear birds, wind through the trees, and monkeys playing in the jungle. Sleep comes easily, and by the second day, you realise how much tension you were carrying without knowing it. Santani doesn’t feel like an escape. It feels like a return to yourself - calmer, clearer, and more grounded. A place you leave better than when you arrived, and one you quietly plan to return to.
