If you’re looking for a peaceful holiday in the middle of jungle and tea plantations look no further. Reaching the resort was a bit of a challenge since it’s in the middle of nowhere and we reached there late evening but once we were there it was all worth it, especially the views we woke up to in the morning felt like we were in paradise . The nature walk was amazing & a bit adventurous, ( we came back with a few leeches )Pasan guided us well, explaining the flora and fauna and guiding us along the route. The food variety was a bit limited, maybe they can work on their menu a bit. Also the infinity pool and the views from there can’t be put into words and have to be experienced.

It was an amazing stay in Simpson Hotel. The emplacement in the middle of the rainforest is incredible. You feel like you're in the nature the whole time. The facilities, rooms, staff and amenities are luxury level and they feel you like home. The hotel offers a free trekking around the hotel tea plantation and rainforest; we want to specially thank to Sadun all the interesting things he explained to us about the nature in the property. Also, Shane made us feel comfortable and like home, so we're very thankfull to him too. If you're doubting between different hotel options in the area, I'd definetely recommend you to stay at Simpson hotel and enjoy their astonishing views and nature. Thanks a million to all the staff!❤️

We stayed at Simpson's forest as a group of eight for a week, and our experience was wonderful! The rooms are clean and cosy, the hotel premises are well maintained and beautiful. There is an infinity pool with a breathtaking view of the hills, a hiking trail, a nature pool with a waterfall, and a beautiful garden with lots of interesting plants. We are very grateful to Pasan who showed us around and gave us an educational tour! The staff were friendly and professional, the food was delicious, and the hotel managers were always there to answer our questions and to make sure we were having the best time. The purpose of our visit was a yoga and art retreat, and we were happy to have the grass area and the pool bar to hold yoga and painting sessions. We are sure to recommend this place to our friends and family!

The hotel had the perfect nature retreat vibe . right next to the forest, calm and peaceful, with stunning green views all around. Waking up to the sounds of birds and fresh mountain air felt so refreshing. From the hotel, I joined a short safari trek into the tea plantation with my guide, Isuru. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the walk both fun and insightful. The trail through lush greenery, and rolling tea plantation was absolutely beautiful. A perfect blend of comfort at the hotel and adventure in nature . made even better with such a great guide!

Had a relaxing few nights here with my family and can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The surrounding nature and tea plantations were magical and we explored these with Isuru, who was an extremely knowledgable and kind guide. The food did not disappoint and a big thank you to Lalith and the rest of the staff for looking after us so incredibly well throughout our stay. Quite a few people we met stayed here for one night only but I really feel that you must stay here for more than a few nights to be able to fully take in the beautiful surroundings and luxurious pool and dining experiences of this resort. Again thank you to everyone at Simpson's who made our stay so special! the Kalra family

Breathtaking views, lovely staff and good food. Hotel was perfect for our family of 5. Highlights were the stunning infinity pool, monkeys and Sri Lankan curry! Special thanks to Gune and Lailith for taking such good care of us.

This hotel is everything u dream of, when on a vacation.. The environment is serenely beautiful.. The sound of nature and the cool weather is perfect to rest and relax.. the rooms are super clean and the beds are comfortable.. Food is good and above everything the hospitality shown is top notch.. Will definitely return!
