The guys who work there are very kind and helpful, but they don't speak English very well so it's a bit difficult to communicate.
The rooms are horrible, dirty, neglected, old, and shabby. At the limit of decency.adding a few pics. Rusty soap dish, dirty and stained showerhead, extremely dirty walls, dirty and smelly foot mat, stained pillows, broken bedroom door, cold sink water, non-existent Wi-Fi, non-working air conditioning, a hallucinatory musty smell, and a terrible breakfast.
The outside is pretty and quite well maintained but should be the case to start doing the same with the rooms.
Until they do not start giving this place some dignity I suggest truly not to go.

We had a nice stay here. The hotel is a little far from town and isn’t much nearby. We could walk to the lion rock from this hotel so that was nice. The weather was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool. The breakfast is buffet style with western and Sri Lankan food as well as lots of fruit which I enjoyed. Staff was friendly and helpful!

The hotel is a bit off the main road, nestled in the jungle. It has a large, beautiful property with a decent restaurant that served tasty food. In the room, there's a concrete bed and concrete countertops, and the outlets are inconveniently located under the nightstands. Maybe the design was cool initially, but now it looks a bit tired.
What I didn't like was the lack of soap (though they brought some when I asked), and the shower gel and shampoo bottles were already half-used. Also, the toilet seat didn't fit properly. The hotel staff, in general, were willing to help with any issues within their power.

Firstly, as a solo traveller the prices are quite steep per room per night!! But hence everything else is far after visiting the Lion try I gave it a try. The place is beutiful but seemed the cleaning staff doesn’t refill bathroom soaps, towels and tissue quite often. Everyone including myself kept on asking the receptionist guy for stuff. My plug sockets didn’t work, I slept thinking my power bank and phone would be fully charged by the morning. The people are polite. Lots of noise at night and turns out it’s elephant 🐘 noise and dogs barking. So I missed a 2 good hours of sleep. They do try to fix the problems when you tell them about them.

The location is remote. The only advantage is that you can walk to Lion Rock. There are no places to eat nearby. It's in a village, so the decor is simple, the hygiene is so-so, and there are a lot of small black bugs in the house. The breakfast is okay.

As a fellow Chinese citizen, please, please, please don't go there! Even if you don't have a room, don't go. The decor is like a living tomb. The bed is made of cement, and all the furniture in the room is cast in concrete, except for a wardrobe made of a material that looks like it's made of a dark brown color. At 11 pm, a tiny, beeping insect the size of a thumb flew from the curtains onto the bed, scaring me half to death. I implore you to take this hotel down. I don't know what's so good about it, or what its commercial value is. The bathroom is even worse—indescribable, it's downright creepy.

The hotel's overall environment is quite nice, with a strong sense of nature. Unfortunately, the facilities are rather old, some room doors don't close properly, and the rooms are poorly lit, making them rather dark overall, which detracts from the overall experience.

Property is decent but the bed sheets were very old. The geyser was not working despite raising complaints. Dinner is good with the ala carte options they have. Decent proximity to the sigiriya fortress.

We had the entire resort to ourselves for one night, awesome. Staff are brilliant and the pool excellent. Nice omelette for breakfast.
