The room facilities and hygiene were fine. But the real selling point is the environment! Built into the mountain, it's truly beautiful! You could spend a whole day just exploring the hotel grounds; it's much more worthwhile than the surrounding attractions!

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old. Hygiene: The hygiene conditions are quite good. Environment: The natural environment is incredibly well integrated. Service: Warm and thoughtful. The only downside is that the value for money is a bit low.

Great architecture and common area, and integration with its surrounding nature. However, the building showed its age and the room is on the smaller side.

Very good, and the suite was upgraded. It is very large and the environment is also very good.

The environment is beautiful, but the location is quite remote. I thought we were in the wrong place. 😂 If you stay here, I recommend staying longer at the hotel to experience the close proximity of the animals in the forest.

The facilities are very old, the room smells like old wood, and the air conditioner is very noisy, which affects sleep a bit. The room is divided into two floors, with a single bed in the upper loft and a double bed below. However, the temperature upstairs is always higher than that downstairs, so if there are many people, sleeping upstairs may not be so comfortable.

Amazing hotel with good design! Very close to Yala Safari. Dinner buffet is nice with lots of cuisines. One bad thing is the bathroom is quite humid. Toilet papers got humid too.

We chose this hotel based on the location! We arrived, looked and booked 3 rooms. Moreover, it was cheaper to book through the website than at the hotel. When they showed us the rooms, a very sharp, specific smell hit our noses, I asked what it was, they told me that these were their air fresheners and they could be washed off. The hotel is very beautiful, in the jungle, and there are two trees in the room. The refrigerator in the room needs to be paid for. The buffet breakfast and dinner are average, not delicious, not suitable for Chinese stomachs, but not bad hahaha

Flies in the smaller room for the buffet around the fruit, the room itself smelt musky and missing tiles from the swimming pool and only wet/ dirty tops for the sun loungers - Had a very run down feel to it. The location is very convenient, the room is quite large, very suitable for family travel and vacation, it is worth recommending!

The hotel's biggest highlight is definitely the ambiance. It's beautiful, right by the lake, and the live music at the hotel bar was fantastic. The food was just okay, and the facilities felt old and dated. We initially didn't have hot water, but it was fixed very quickly.

We loved this hotel. Super relaxing vibe. We drifted down to the bar early on the first night and the barman, Darshana, was so warm and welcoming. With his colleagues, he whipped up some tasty cocktails and and presented them with a flourish. The buffet was super tasty and offered a huge range of local curries and tasty food 😋 Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Today we did an excursion that begon from the hotel. The excursion was oxi roots. The people where great and the excursion was excellent. Whilst the hotel is value for money , attention to detail is lacking and so many things could improve the stay, beds comfy and clean but no hand towels, no plug in the bath, pool area swept but pool is not clean, no aircon in the restaurant, staff are helpful but feel like they lack training. Central location and pretty natural grounds make this a good place to stay for a day or two

I think people will either love it or hate it, but I liked this hotel. The impression is that it is a hotel in the jungle with nothing around. You need a tricycle or taxi to get to the sightseeing spots, but they don't come around. The correspondence of the staff is good.

This is a nice hotel in a great location in terms of seeing the key sights in the area we wanted to visit (walking distance to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks, and a short tuk tuk ride to a night loris walk). The hotel provides dinner and breakfast which are very good.

The room is spacious, but the soundproofing is really bad. The backyard is connected to the road and there is music and car noise at night. If you have trouble sleeping, I don't recommend rooms 10-13. There is not much to eat around the hotel, and the restaurant has few dinner options, but the price is not very expensive.

We were staying in the treehouse for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The treehouse was very comfortable and had a nice view over the nature. There are a lot of cool activities in the area which can be reached by car or tuktuk that will be organized by Sumith. Sumith and his team are incredibly friendly and fulfilled all of our wishes!

I had lots of fun by playing in the pool.. The customer service is really good and the staff is very helpful and friendly❤ We stayed at a biig family room and it was sooo good.. had comfortable holidays and wanna spend a week in a tree house! It looks so cool 😎

We had a lovely 2 days in this hotel. The staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and clean and the food was lovely. Best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka and a great cup of English breakfast tea! We had clear vegetable soup one evening and it was really delicious. 10 minutes from the rock and a snack was provided for us before we went at 5am. ...

We family of four from Chennai, India stayed here on 26th July. Place is calm, very spacious, neatly maintained... More than that great team of people headed by Mr Roshan (think correctly i remember his name) We opted for half board... (much needed for places like this. Otherwise you need much much trained people to locate good restaurant) Both dinner and breakfast served by them will be in our memory...

An excellent place to stay.The staff at the hotel were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble.The accommodation are like back to back cottages.Very homely and quite quaint. My wife and I were with 5 family members 3 being children and they were also made up with the place.The food was good so nothing to complain about would highly recommend anyone going to Sigirya to give the hotel a try .

During our SrI Lanka tour, we stayed in two rooms with half board. Rooms are comfy and large, what this property calls 'rooms' others would most likely advertise as 'villas'. Parts of the small pool could use some renovation but overall did not disturb us and we enjoyed it a lot.
