The room facilities and hygiene were fine. But the real selling point is the environment! Built into the mountain, it's truly beautiful! You could spend a whole day just exploring the hotel grounds; it's much more worthwhile than the surrounding attractions!

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old. Hygiene: The hygiene conditions are quite good. Environment: The natural environment is incredibly well integrated. Service: Warm and thoughtful. The only downside is that the value for money is a bit low.

The environment is beautiful, but the location is quite remote. I thought we were in the wrong place. 😂 If you stay here, I recommend staying longer at the hotel to experience the close proximity of the animals in the forest.

The facilities are very old, the room smells like old wood, and the air conditioner is very noisy, which affects sleep a bit. The room is divided into two floors, with a single bed in the upper loft and a double bed below. However, the temperature upstairs is always higher than that downstairs, so if there are many people, sleeping upstairs may not be so comfortable.

Amazing hotel with good design! Very close to Yala Safari. Dinner buffet is nice with lots of cuisines. One bad thing is the bathroom is quite humid. Toilet papers got humid too.

We chose this hotel based on the location! We arrived, looked and booked 3 rooms. Moreover, it was cheaper to book through the website than at the hotel. When they showed us the rooms, a very sharp, specific smell hit our noses, I asked what it was, they told me that these were their air fresheners and they could be washed off. Whilst the hotel is value for money , attention to detail is lacking and so many things could improve the stay, beds comfy and clean but no hand towels, no plug in the bath, pool area swept but pool is not clean, no aircon in the restaurant, staff are helpful but feel like they lack training. Central location and pretty natural grounds make this a good place to stay for a day or two

A beautifully stunning set of villas nestled in a nature reserve. The villas are extraordinary, filled with natural light, immaculate, and super comfortable beds. Today we did an excursion that begon from the hotel. The excursion was oxi roots. The people where great and the excursion was excellent. This is a nice hotel in a great location in terms of seeing the key sights in the area we wanted to visit (walking distance to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks, and a short tuk tuk ride to a night loris walk). The hotel provides dinner and breakfast which are very good.

The room is spacious, but the soundproofing is really bad. The backyard is connected to the road and there is music and car noise at night. If you have trouble sleeping, I don't recommend rooms 10-13. There is not much to eat around the hotel, and the restaurant has few dinner options, but the price is not very expensive.

The view was great, the breakfast was delicious, and there was a pool, so I was very satisfied. I would like to go again next time.

I think people will either love it or hate it, but I liked this hotel. The impression is that it is a hotel in the jungle with nothing around. You need a tricycle or taxi to get to the sightseeing spots, but they don't come around. The correspondence of the staff is good.

The double room we booked actually looked like it could accommodate three people. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the room was a bit cramped and the lighting was dim. In December, Sri Lanka is only around 20 degrees Celsius, so the pool was too hot to use. We had dinner at the hotel on our first day. This hotel is small but equipped with everything you need, there's even a swimming pool. Its about 10 mins to lion rock via tuktuk (little hard for us to get uber) but the hotel can organise tuktuk which makes it easy. Staff are friendly and attentive.

We loved this hotel. Super relaxing vibe. We drifted down to the bar early on the first night and the barman, Darshana, was so warm and welcoming. With his colleagues, he whipped up some tasty cocktails and and presented them with a flourish. We really enjoyed our time at this villa near Lion Rock. It is a ten minute walk to the rock and we were very happy with the cooking class we took with the owner. I highly recommend booking here - it was a much more personal experience as opposed to a big resort.

A brilliant experience, we stayed in the treehouse pictured and everything has been thought of, great shower, mosquito nets, plenty of sockets (3 pin UK style) mini fridge in the treehouse, lockable cupboard to keep your snacks away from visiting monkeys. 2 types of langurs and slender loris can be seen in the jungle around the hotel. Such a lovely spot in Sigirya, the staff and owner are super friendly and very helpful (they remembered my vegan dietary requirement at each meal). The food was amazing, the best coconut roti I’ve ever had! The views are second to none. The room was quite small and power did cut off every now and again but it is to be expected in a treehouse! We loved staying here and would recommend!

It was quiet and peaceful area. It has a lovely garden with a pool but the best part of this hotel is its lovely staff. Unfortunately in our villa the electrical power blew our two charging blocks and they cleaned a new room and took all our luggage to help us move. The rooms are big covered with a netting and there is air conditioning. They have tea and coffee facilities in the room and bottled water...

Absolutely spectacular. I was 3 days with my girlfriend. Room ok. Food the best thing. The place with all the nature around is so relaxing. And the workers always looking attention for your needs.
