We stayed 2 nights in January. The restauarant service and food was fantastic. The pool was well maintained and drinks at the swim up bar were cold and fresh. Playing 8 ball and relaxing in the hammocks. The cooking class with chef Lailth is a must and was one of my favourite memories of our holiday to Sri Lanka.

We had a bungalow for our family, which was not that big, it definitely was comfortable to sleep there. The area is fantastic, very quiet and the location is right next to the beach. The staff was super friendly, we had optional breakfast, which was great since it was a buffet and only six dollars per person, little kids for free. Dinner was also delicious, fresh seafood, tuna and white snapper.
You can also go kayaking across the hotel and see lots of Lizards. Next door is a hotel with a nice pool which we were able to use as well.
The ocean is kind of rough, but if you go about 15 minutes west, there is a little natural pool in the ocean where kids can play and swim.
The only downside was that there was only one plug in to charge your devices.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience and stay there. I would definitely recommend going there.

Beautiful resort, on gorgeous beach, good food, really cool cabana rooms with hammocks.
Tranquil and not too busy , lots of restaurants in walking distance
Can use lovely pool in the adjacent hotel. Swim up bar with happy hour
Room itself is small with basic bathroom, but felt safe secure and AC worked
Like the whole of Sri Lanka, service isn’t the fastest and you have to wave to waiter to get served

A beautiful beachfront spot with a very friendly owner who makes the whole stay feel personal. The cabanas are spacious, airy and comfortable, and the whole area has a super chilled, tropical atmosphere. I really enjoyed waking up to the sound of the ocean. A small improvement like a shelf in the bathroom would be useful, but overall it was a lovely stay.

At the end of this peninsula you find a little paradise. Its at the end of the road, next to the sea at one side, and the lagoon on the other side. Its very clean, the straff very helpful and warm.
The hotel is good for bouth familys and couples. The pool is clean and on the beach with a view over the ocean - and a poolbar!
The food is over all good and they have a basic offer on the menu. But its good and fresh. Along the way in to town there are many restaurants and coffe places to choose from. We went in to town, you need to take a tuk-tuk for the price of 400 LKR, but the range of restaurants is better by the road by the sea. And it is walking distance to the restaurants. We where here in november, before high season, and ot was very calm. But the sea was crazy and it was impossible to take a swim in the sea. Good the place have a wonderful pool!

Very basic accommodation; bed, fan, mosquito net, and toilet with cold shower.
Many may not be bothered by the poor level of accommodation, as it is very very quiet and peaceful here.. and the cheapish rate will compel others to make the long dusty treck down the road to the cabana's.
Breakfast was actually not bad considering what I was expecting after seeing our room, and the restaurant food was was fresh and tasty.
There is only a tiny spot to dip your feet in the ocean outside the cabana's as the water is mostly rock, you must walk 10 mins to find a lagoon that is deep and safe enough to swim.
This place was totally destroyed in the Tsunami, and you can read about the owner who is a well known figure in the district
