A functional accommodation for a stop over near Yala. Near by a little town that you can get almost anything. It takes about 30-40 minutes drive to Yala National Park. Service is great and the manager in charge: Muditha ensured and checked if everything was ok during our stay and shared some places of recommendation in Colombo.

The hotel is clean, the owner is welcoming, and helped organize a safari tour. We were picked up from the hotel by a very friendly and helpful jeep driver who went out of his way to ensure we saw plenty of animals. We really enjoyed the tour. I'd like to mention the convenient parking, the warm pool where we swam in the evening, and the cleanliness of the room. The only downside was that the WiFi didn't work, but we didn't bother using it because we had our own internet connection through Dialog (a local mobile operator).

Do not stay here.
1. The hygiene is terrible. I developed a rash on my arm after sleeping in the bed, something I've never experienced in other hotels. There were also a lot of ants.
2. The facilities are terrible. My shower leaked everywhere, and my friend's room had no hot water. The sheets even had holes.
3. There were no toiletries provided. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel, and shampoo—all clearly listed in the hotel details—were missing.

We spent one night at this hotel and overall, it was quite alright.
However, we do have a few complaints:
Two out of three beds in the room had clearly visible stains. The shower was very limescaled.
Otherwise, the room was quite okay; the furnishings are visibly a few years old, but still meet modern standards.
The pool is large and clean, but there is only one lounger.
Due to the hotel's low occupancy during our stay, we felt that the service was overly eager and pushy, which was somewhat bothersome.
In summary, this hotel is a good option for a few nights. It has a good location and is also gated.

The guesthouse-style hotel is not particularly good. There are some interesting B&Bs and tree houses nearby. It is not very close to Yala National Park (but there are no hotels that are particularly close). In addition, the Safari in Yala is also quite average.

This hotel was a real surprise. I had no expectations for Sri Lankan food, but I didn't expect the food to be so amazing. The water temperature of the swimming pool was also very good. We had a great stay.

The hotel is 20 minutes away from Yala Park. The room hygiene is not very good, but the front desk is very welcoming. We booked a jeep through the driver and were extremely lucky. We saw Ceylon leopards hunting buffaloes, eagles, and other animals.
