A very convenient hotel 30 mins from Yala national park for Safari (which the were kind enough to arrange for us). Nice pool with views over the lagoon and a great spot to sit and watch the sunset, birds flying home for bed/bats on their way out for the night! Staff are great, food was good.

The best variant for having safari. Good price for safari and organisation. Recommend to take boat safari from hotel. Young and pretty administrator helped with all questions.

Lovely room with amazing views of the lake. Cleaniness can be improved, there were dead insect on the floor and bugs on the bed. Great pool, restaurant and safari tour arrangements. Walking distance to Chef lady and other restaurants.

We enjoyed our time here. The breakfast was nice just a shame they didn't do the traditional pancakes and hoppers. The fly situation isn't great but you are facing a rice field and jungle. We enjoyed an amazing night stay at wild culture yellow. The hotel is boutique with a small number of rooms. The rooms itself were well equipped and comfortable and had a lovely view while sitting outside of the Terrace. There is a nice swimming pool and the service from the staff was excellent. The food was great and I would highly recommend this hotel whilst staying in Yala.

This was our 5th stay on our honeymoon trip and by far our favourite. They are super welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. When we arrived we were given delicious juice and a lovely welcoming. They decorated our bed with fresh flowers. Food is phenomenal and the cocktails made by Shihan are the best we’ve had. The experience at wild culture Yala was fantastic for a peaceful couples getaway in nature. We organise a Safari through the hotel. We were offered by member of staff , Shaha to join us on our trip in the Jeep. This made the experience for us. He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife, how to spot animals that we usually wouldn’t even notice, how to navigate the park and the right spots, he created...

We have included breakfast for the stay. Yet we booked the yala safari tour the next day which we have to leave the hotel at 5am. The manager is so nice and helpful that he allows us either to takeaway our breakfast or have it after we back. The location is great, around half an hour to yala safari national park.

Yala Golden Wild, a pleasant house with beautiful pool, ever ready to help staff. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfy, shower water a good pressure. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and will recommend those who are doing Yala National Park Safari to choose starting there.

The hotel is clean and hygienic. The hotel owners are a couple, and they are very friendly. Since I have to go to Yala National Park Safari in the morning, they let me have breakfast after I come back, which is very considerate. The hotel is not too far from the city center. You can walk back to the hotel in 45 minutes and enjoy the scenery along the way. The street snacks are also delicious.

We booked a 30 square meter room with two beds - one children's sofa and a large double bed. We were put in a much smaller room and when I went to the reception to ask why, I was told that this was the room I had booked. However, the photo showed a completely different one. Nice accommodation a little outside of the town center of Tissamaharama. Centrally located, the owner speaks good English and is helpful in planning tours (safari in Yala National Park). An English breakfast is prepared in the morning (toast, butter, jam, fruit and tea). The rooms are simply but functionally furnished. Would book it again at any time.

This was a great value. It is a beautiful property right by the river. The foliage is superb and the staff work tirelessly to keep the grounds clear of plant droppings. The only negative was the WIFI which try as they might it never worked consistently.

We loved this place and were gutted to only be here for one night. We originally were staying two nights in a different place in Yala and left as it was not a pleasant stay. The Serene Park Hotel By Ark is a comfortable, affordable and clean hotel to stay at. Close to restaurants and access to go on safaris nearby. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable with local tourist must see places.

The service was decent, but the facilities were terrible. There was no hot water for showering, the door locks were old, and the room was infested with mosquitoes. I stayed here mainly because it was convenient for birdwatching by the lake, but I've moved to a different hotel now. It's not far, about two kilometers, and half the price – much better.

This place is moderate. Furnishers were very new. But the staff Mr. Nihal was very helpful and welcoming always. The owner Mr. Pushpakumara is a very friendly person and made sure our stay was comfortable. We had the Yala Safari early morning next day and offered us late check-out. We appreciate it. The place is nice, A/C is working fine as well, some lights are not working. I only experience one the problem, everytime I go to the bathroom afternoon and morning water is there but after 2 minutes it’s gone. But overall, nice place to stay, beautiful sunrise, calm background wherein you can only hear the birds chirping, and also if you want near the safari and experience a village life.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The staff as very friendly and the rooms were large. Bathrooms and other facilities were well maintained and clean. We ordered dinner from the hotel and the portions were very large and tasty. Breakfast buffet was mostly Sri Lankan and was delicious.
