We stayed at this wonderful hotel right in the middle of Kandy. The location was excellent with great sights and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable with great views. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and attentive. I would highly recommend this place for the ambiance and location.
In addition, they helped us book tour guide (including car): Sachin Masdushan who picked us up from Colombo and took us around central Sri Lanka. Not only did he know the sights, but also good places to eat for vegetarians.

As many people say, the location is good - if you’d like to stay in the center of the city with all major attractions close by.

However, the suite rooms have no windows or ventilation.

Restaurant is very mediocre. If you are on a half board plan, their dinner is extremely limited with very few options. Food takes a very, very long time to arrive.

Muslim owned - no bar or alcohol and no pork.

My stay at The Radh was truly delightful and incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind after a rather demanding journey around Sri Lanka. Kandy is a wonderful city, and the hotel made my time here even more enjoyable. The service is exceptional - always helpful, warm, and speaking the best English I’ve heard on the island. Breakfast is outstanding, offering something for everyone. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom beautifully designed. Everything was impeccably clean. We are spending our honeymoon in Sri Lanka, and the team at The Radh prepared a truly memorable and heartfelt welcome for us.

The Radh Hotel was an excellent choice — we stayed for two nights and truly enjoyed every moment. Kandy is unforgettable: vibrant, authentically Sri Lankan, yet still showing traces of its British heritage. Life here feels different, uplifting, and full of warmth. The people are kind and always helpful.

The hotel is centrally located but in a quiet street, so our room was peaceful and we couldn’t hear the city noise. The interior design and overall quality exceeded our expectations — modern, elegant, and very comfortable.

We didn’t try local restaurants, so we had all our meals at the hotel — prices were reasonable, and the food was excellent. Don’t miss their chocolate brownie — it’s absolutely amazing! 🍰

Although it was a bit pricey, the location, service, and cleanliness were all perfect!
It was convenient as the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Lake, and the market were all within walking distance!

The parent-child rooms all have no windows facing the outside, only windows facing the inside, so the air is not very good, but the restaurant is good, especially the sushi for breakfast, which saved our Chinese stomachs, and the location is good

The hotel is right next to Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is very convenient.
The hotel is not big, but the design is excellent and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast variety is not much but very exquisite.
