The hotel is in a good location, close to all the attractions. The room is large and the facilities are relatively new. The service is good, and there is a dedicated person to check in. The hotel's dining is very good, with many choices for breakfast and dinner, and the taste is also good, suitable for Chinese stomachs.

One of the best hotel and food was amazing

Hotels in Sri Lanka generally have low value for money, and most of the well-known heritage hotels have outdated facilities. In comparison, Golden Crown is a relatively new hotel with fairly complete facilities. The location is good and the lobby decoration is very unique. It happened to be Valentine's Day when we checked in, and red balloons were placed on the bed, which was very warm.

Nice pleasant hotel away from the hustle and bustul of kandy town, just far enough, but not too far. Clean, pleasant, and as to be expected for a top-tier hotel. Can't complain about anything in particular, nor can I think that particularly stood out.

This hotel is one of the best in the area, and they even offer breakfast and dinner, which we unfortunately didn't know about beforehand. The breakfast was plentiful, the mountain views were stunning, and it's not far from Kandy. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

A nice hotel with beautiful views, especially since we checked in right at sunset – it was stunning! The cleanliness was good. The only downside is its location on a hill, so getting there from the city can involve some traffic.

Staying at Queens Hotel felt like stepping into a gentler era. Its colonial charm sits proudly at the edge of Kandy Lake, with the Temple of the Sacred Tooth just a short stroll away. Stay for three nights. The hotel is heritage not recommended for a person who is afraid things stay alone. The location is perfect at the front gate of the temple of tooth relics. However, one male GSA do not respond well as I told him that the telephine is broken, the fridge inside is very hot and the light in the toilet is broken so many times. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, they are very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The view from the window is also quite nice.

The hotel is located by the river, offering some nice views, and the service is excellent. The food selection is quite extensive and tastes good too. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. The hotel is a bit older but has been well-maintained. Although getting to the rooms involves stairs, there's staff available to help with luggage.

I had to ask someone to guide me to my room. Many cigarettes butts in the balcony when I check in.

Absolutely stunning, giant compound with an extensive history! They even offer a history walking tour but unfortunately there weren’t enough people signed up to make the tour happen. If you’re looking for a “colonial” stay, this is a great place. I recommend just walking around to see it for yourself. Hotel Suisse carries a colonial charm that takes you back in time. The food is good, offering a fair range of choices. However, the dining experience was slightly marred by some worn napkins. The air conditioning in our room was a bit loud, but it didn't keep us from having a comfortable stay. I might look into other hotels in the area next time to experience something different.

Situated on an inner road and with glass doors this hotel was a little scary to stay at. Breakfast was a set menu for each person and was layed out very beautifully.

Staff were wonderful, so helpful and took time to help me plan a full day as I only had one day in Kandy. They also gave me suggestions for my trip after Kandy also. As others have written, this is a great hotel. Wonderful rooms, staff, food, grounds. My only warning is that it is far from Kandy, about 45-50 minutes. So if your purpose of staying here is to see Kandy, you will spend a lot of time driving there.
