Wonderful, friendly staff willing to address queries and expertly facilitate any needs. Close to facilities, a beautiful view surrounded by the sights and sounds of wildlife. Walking a bit of a challenge due to narrow road side and my experience level, would recommend transport as easy, affordable and fun.

The staff are very attentive, the food served is excellent, the room is clean and the hotel's location is not far from the lake.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days last week and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Kandy is a great base to explore the town and surrounding national parks/official walking trails. It is great hotel, it doesn’t offer any frills, but everything is clean and well maintained. We were really happy with our room and quiet. Loved seeing the monkeys and a great view over Kandy. It is an easy walk to some great bars and restaurants and kandy lake. Easy walk to get into town and the markets (or tuk tuk if you wanted). Food is really tasty and authentic (any time of day. Good variety each night. Housekeeping couldn’t do enough for us, including cleaning and drying our walking gear.

Staff looked after us really well in what was a difficult situation due to extreme weather. The service was always excellent, food was varied and tasty, the hotel was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you!!

I'm on a tour of Sri Lanka so did not book this hotel myself. What a disappointment! After spending the last ten days in a variety of lovely hotels, this is by far the worst. Very tired decor and furniture. Bathroom bad. Sink tap not secure..turns on basin when touched. Shower door leaks. Shower hose leaks. Door seal mouldy. Bathroom so narrow that when rise from toilet hit head on wall! Have to sit diagonally! Air con not cooling properly, suspect windows not sealed. Disappointing options at dinner. Worst my allocated room is under stairs to the bar and restaurant so noisy late and early. I plan to move hotel. Need to rest

Best hotel I have ever went to. Very good hospitality and food. They prepared special Indian food for us without asking for. Very caring staff and clean rooms . With best view. Must visit hotel if you are in Sri Lanka.with cool and fun pool to swim

The hotel has very friendly environment. The executive chef was very kind and polite including the staff . The place has its own stride . The swimming pool and the rooms were very clean and neat . Good amount of lotions , caps , soaps were provided. Overall the 2 days experience was incredible.
