I will never forget my stay at this hotel. It is by far the best hotel I’ve ever been to. The price is very reasonable considering the location and all the amenities included. What truly made it special was the extra effort from the staff—they surprised me with a birthday card and a sweet cupcake in my room.

The best place to stay in Grindelwald if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Great quality/price rate. Close to the cableway it is not too much to the town center that you can easily reach by car in few minutes. The hotel is clean and confortable. Very good and polite staff, the breakfast is simple but correct for the hotel standard.

Modern but cozy hotel in a great location. I loved the included minibar with Swiss snacks and drinks. Also a nice touch was the free coffee and cakes at their coffee shop in town. For my taste, the scenery was a bit self-help/motivational slogans, but otherwise everything was very nice.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful, modern, stylish and quiet room with lots of wood and nice colors. TV and free internet. The minibar is also free (good idea, generous!). The scenery was beautiful, but it was too hot during the few days I was there. I couldn't sleep at night because of the lack of air conditioning.

This holiday cabin was really charming, and most importantly, their restaurant was delicious. The staff were also very friendly; they even made us a packed breakfast since we left early in the morning. The only downside was the sheer number of flies in the Swiss mountains.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, overlooking the town of Grindelwald. Buses 123 run hourly, but if you miss the last bus at 7 PM, you'll have to take a taxi or walk 40 minutes back to the hotel. This is our return to this hotel after 10 years. The hotel is very well maintained, and the view from halfway up the mountain is beautiful. The only thing we didn't like was that there were too many flies.

We were very happy when I contacted the hotel. They were willing to pick us up at the train station. Our room and view were amazing and the breakfast as well as the dinner at the hotel was quite delicious. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub as well would definitely stay there again.

ParkHotel Schoenegg is in just the right place. Near to the train station, next to Grindelwald First and right around many dinning choices. The staff are all great and very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. The breakfast is great and their dinner is also delicious.

Easy access to and from the train station and central to being able to get access to experience First. The staff was absolutely lovely. The hotel breakfast buffet was excellent with extensive options. Additionally, the hotel restaurant options for dinner with very good. The indoor pool/whirlpool is large and very clean.

Lots of space, amazing views, beds were a little small, unfortunately we had flies in the property. But heaps of cooking utensils, plates - felt like home.

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and helpful! Everyone wore a smile as they greeted us. The location is great and the view of the mountains is unbeatable. We panicked because there was no refrigerator in the room, as my husband needed to store his medication for a chronic illness in the refrigerator. The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Basic but clean hotel on the heights of Grindelwald (the center is a 12-minute walk or a 5-minute bus ride that stops next to the hotel). A local hotel CANCELLED us on the day of our travel. We found this hotel and booked in and within half an hour the amazing gentleman on reception rang to organise us a car parking space. Our stay at Hotel Kreuz&Post was amazing! It’s just opposite to the train station with less than 1min walk. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a great view of Grindelwald. I booked this hotel for my child, and they told me the restaurant was excellent, with delicious Italian food. The room itself was quite small and the facilities were a bit outdated, but the balcony was very spacious with a great view, which was a major highlight.

Overall, it was quite good. Hotels in Switzerland are generally old, but very well-maintained. This was especially true in Grindelwald, though the room was a little small. Everything else was great, and the pool was fantastic.

It was a small hotel but completed with all major facilities of a hotel. It was in hot summer but it was cold at night so that no air conditioning required. The hotel provided a small swimming pool with warm water and showed some superiority than others. I recommended it.

Very good location supermarket and Chinese restaurant near by. Bus station also at front of hotel. However hotel offer free shuttle from station which is great. Room facing bar so very noisy at nice and it was so hot if you open windows it will be much more noise so better find way to protect and put air con on it. Price is quite expensive but super worth it. Get the Eiger View Rooms and Adore the Views! Best family Stay. The downside is the shower. Its still old school. So for PWD or Oldies pls beware you might fall.
