The swimming pool was great — warm and perfect for kids. Ours absolutely loved it!
Breakfast organization could definitely be improved. It was often difficult to find a clean table, and several tables were marked “reserved” without anyone showing up, which created unnecessary chaos. That said, we did enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet. We didn’t try dinner, so can’t comment on that.
Excellent location overall. The ski room could be better organized, and managing the stairs with young children in ski boots wasn’t ideal.
A special highlight was the evening pianist, which added a classy atmosphere. Gustav Fondlauen was a wonderful and unexpected surprise — truly remarkable!
Alas I injured myself on the first day of snowboarding, so I know the hotel and spa intimately! By the way, the staff at medical centre are excellent!
I would recommend getting a good room with a view (we didn't!)
The meals are great and waiters are lovely. Dinner is always soup, salad, choice of meat, fish or vegetarian pasta. Breakfast is also great. It's possible to eat really nutritiously.
The spa is AMAZING. the best in Wengen, according to my doctor! I'm obsessed with the (naked) sauna. Sometimes in the steam room there is an incredible salt scrub. There is also an outdoor hot tub and relaxation room. I'm so glad to be staying here whilst injured!

One thing I really loved is the weekly program every day guests can take part in different activities created together by the reception and hotel staff, which adds a unique and welcoming touch to the stay.
The location is perfect, just one minute from the train station. The jacuzzi with a view over the Lauterbrunnen valley is a real highlight, especially with the option to enjoy a glass of champagne.
The bar offers truly unique cocktails with special service elements, including tresure boxe and even a touch of illusion, which makes the experience unforgettable. The restaurant Pasta & More takes great care of guests despite the high volume the pasta dishes are beautifully presented and prepared with attention to every detail.
You can really feel that the management cares about decorations, staff motivation, and overall quality. A big appreciation as well for the housekeeping team, who do a great job behind the scenes. Highly recommended.
We had experienced a disturbance almost all night from a raucous guest just above us, room 209. Constantly banging. We tried to call reception so many times to complain, but no one answered my call. That was so disappointing. We couldn't sleep all night. I felt the noise could easily be heard from neighbour guests.
Overall, it was a really nice hotel to stay in a perfect location.
