Hotel Suisse in Geneva

Nice little hotel right next to the train station. A bit old style, but clean and with everything you need.

A very quaint hotel, walking in felt like stepping back into the last century. It's right opposite the station, which gives you plenty of time to get around. Geneva is a bit boring overall, but it's great for a layover! ദ്ദി(• ˕ •マ.ᐟ

The hotel is right in front of Cornavin Train Station, easy access to the station, restaurants nearby and Migros/ Coop inside the station. The room was old but clean with working amenities like lift and hot water. Breakfast was excellent for a Swiss hotel.
Additional plus point : The hotel contacted me earlier to provide the Genève travel pass, great to have the pass early to get to the hotel from the airport.

I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips.
Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient.
The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva.
Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station.
I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.

Good service

The bed was firm( not hard), the bedding was very soft, windows opened for fresh air. Bathtub was clean and deep. Very convenient to everything. Across from train station and a short walk to the lake. Could also use transportation pass from airport and other city attractions.

Fantastic location just opposite the train station. Boutique hotel with 2 small lifts.

However only 1 bottled water if provided for the whole stay. Housekeeping service is lacking as they left my clothes (which i put neatly on the bed) on the floor in a mess! Totally unprofessional!

Also, I was disappointed with the way trip.com handled my issue of receiving WhatsApp scam messages regarding my booking.

Very close to train station, coop right downstairs and convenient to walk to lake Geneva or take the bus from the station to arrive in 3 stops
