DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL if you are concerned about any delays to your arrival. I made a reservation on my credit card rewards site and was not notified that the check in was only between 3 and 6 pm. We were arriving around 9 pm due to travel delays and called the hotel to notify them. The owner told us that the check in ends at 6 pm and he cannot accept us later than this due to no staffing.

We asked what tho do as we had no other accommodation in Füssen arranged and it was 6:30 pm when we called. The owner could not help us. His employee, who spoke better English, told us that we can get a refund for the booking. She also offered a cash refund on site.

This was fine, but where we were supposed to sleep tired under a long travel. We were fortunate to have an international plan on our US cell phones and find another hotel, City Center Hotel. This hotel staff was very helpful and helped us with a late check in right away. CITY CENTER HOTEL is a great place to stay but not CHRISTINE HOTEL if you need any flexibility in your check-in.

One of the best breakfast we had in Europe. Very polite couple hosting us and located not far from the main city area in Füssen. Very close to Neuschwansteinstraße Castle. Nice and clean hotel. Would love it better if there is aircon in the units.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the family-run Hotel Christine in Füssen, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a nice view of the mountains from our balcony. One of the standout features of our stay was the breakfast. The presentation was nothing short of spectacular. Anna was delightful and very friendly both at breakfast and on reception. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort and top-notch service.

A nice and quiet hotel in Füssen, a 10-minute walk from the beautiful center, especially for parents. We had great night sleep and a nice early morning walk. Our breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. The hotel is highly recommended, also as a stopover on your way to Italy, for example.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Christine (Fussen, Germany). We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The owner takes pride in his business, and he knows how to take care of his guests. The hotel sits in the perfect location. It is close to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle and Harburg Castle, as well as walking distance, along a quaint nature trail, to the old town of Fussen, which is a must see.

The owner is also a fabulous award-winning chef. He offers breakfast daily and it is above and beyond ones' expectations. He prepares a fresh hot main course daily along with all the sides (see pictures). Not only does the food taste wonderful, but the presentation is just magnificent (see pictures).

In particular, I would like to mention Anna. She was just wonderful. She holds various roles at the hotel and worth her weight in gold. She help translate when needed and a true assess to the hotel. At breakfast, she always came with a smile and wonderful conversation to our table. She was a true pleasure.

We plan on returning!

Hotel Christine was our final stop of our 40th-anniversary trip to Germany and it turns out we saved the best for last. The amenities in the Hotel Christine room elevated the room above the other 3-star hotels we’d stayed at. They had a sturdy fan, something every other hotel we’d stayed at sorely lacked, especially with the unexpected warm weather. The sliding glass door could be cracked open, allowing fresh air in but maintaining safety. The room was also clean and had a wonderful view off the balcony of Neuschwanstein. The owner, Kurt Ruppert, a friendly, kind man, is a true master chef. We felt so pampered and special and looked forward to breakfast, which was a special event. Smoked salmon, fancy cheeses, meats, yogurts, fruit cup, fruit smoothies, orange juice, and coffee, not to mention the showcase, a special treat prepared by Kurt Ruppert that was different each morning but each dish was exquisitely delicious, a visual and tasty treat. A 10/10 on the culinary scale of excellence. Anna, his helper, was one of the friendliest people we’ve had the pleasure to meet. She added to the experience and helped out in various aspects of running the hotel. We were always greeted with warmth and a wide smile, a great way to start the day. We’re already planning my next trip to Germany and Hotel Christine is on the top of the list.

Excellent small hotel run by owner and assistant. Located away from the bustle and noise of downtown. But close enough to walk Everything was immaculate, and the breakfast was outstanding. Short drive to the Castle. Highly recommend a visit off-season when no A/C is needed. Pleasant staff.

The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great. However, the older gentleman at the desk seems to have no concern for customer relations. In his limited English, he would shame you for asking if there is an elevator, the size of your suitcases, not finishing your breakfast, thinking about driving your car downtown and how you carried your luggage upstairs. Also, the *********** website says all fees are included when booking. Not so, be prepared to pay more. It was not much but it is the principle of the matter. BTW, *********** did not care about the matter.

The most personal service i've ever experienced in a hotel. So friendly, so attentive, delicious breakfast and a chef that checks his guests. Great, just great! We felt at home AND we felt like queens, all at the same time. The hotel is in a quiet street, on walking distance from the old town and the lake.

The only down side was the very low ceiling in the bathroom. We had a room on the attick. It was not possible to stand while showering.

But nonetheless I would definitely rebook and would certainly recommend this place.

Free parking on site Disliked · The room is unbearably hot and has no air con or fan so had an awful nights sleep, as this is the key requirement for a 1 night stay it undoes all the other qualities this hotel has to offer. Strange location in the middle of a residential housing area - We had a room at the rear, nice balcony, shame about the view —— neighbours back gardens !?
