This hotel is quite old, but we adore the old-world charm it possesses. It is about 10 mins walk from the main shopping and restaurant area of St Moritz, and about 5 mins drive from the St Moritz train station. Centrally located. There is a free shuttle to and from train station. We didn’t realize upon our arrival and ended up on a steep incline walk up to the hotel. I didn’t the shuttle option when booking so be aware. It’s a great service as the town is all hills. Easy to walk through the city center from hotel which was clean and comfortable.

Peaceful Charm in St. Moritz The staff at Hotel Bären was friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We liked the high up location and enjoyed exploring the Olympic bobsled run next door. Only downside was extremely small shower and radiator heat that was hard to control.

Hotel Baren is a lovely Swiss hotel right next to the bus stop for skiing in transportation around. It’s right by the bobsled and the skeleton.The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever experienced. The Spa and Pool with both a hot tub and a sauna were wonderful. A lovely hotel, but the room was not well lit. No light on the desk, no reading light over the bed. Bright modern lights in entryway and bathroom, but that is not where I wanted to work and read. Also, very odd way of presenting cheese in the breakfast room. I have not seen this anywhere else in Switzerland. Cheese cut into strips and put in little glasses get stale very fast. Loved the pool!

Absolutely stunning! The restaurant directly overlooks the lake, and with the vibrant autumn colors and a touch of frost, this hotel on Lake St. Moritz is truly beautiful. From the hotel, you can easily reach various lakes in the Engadin region by bus, and the hotel even provides a free bus pass. We had a car so we didn't end up using it.

The hotel has a great location, not far from the main St. Moritz train station. After getting off the train, you can walk under the train tracks, cross the main road towards Lake St. Moritz, and you'll see the hotel right away. The hotel is at the central location of the town, it offers free shuttle service from the train station. The room is big enough for a couple and the service at the breakfast is great.

The shower room is a little small, but I was able to stay there without any inconvenience. It is a little far from the station, but it is close to the bus stop.

Easy access to public transportation Arrangement for the room key was a big mishap. Need to seek help from Hotel Victoria Receptionist extremely friendly and helpful.

The self checking system didn't function satisfactorily.The staff at the Reine Victoria hotel are helpful. The room is clean but there is only one electric socket in the room excluding the one in the washroom. The electric kettle given had a break in the kettle handle,my friend got a scald and blister after handling it. Breakfast is nice and the one in charge is helpful.

There was no one at the main desk to check you in. The process to get a room key was not as described on the paper that was there to tell you how to check in.

Great hotel in lovely setting Lovely hotel in beautiful setting. Room had a lovely traditional feel to it. Check in really easy which included a very informative app and digital room key on your phone. Lovely restaurant with a great breakfast. Nice location , quite close to train station we stopped here for one night to take the glacier express , they have a pizzeria which is very handy as we arrived late night and were hungry , breakfast variety is very less, can be better for the price. Overall good

Pizza is hands-down the best in St. Moritz. Service has also greatly improved with the hiring of new management. If you go for pizza this is the place to go!

I’ve got all of my orders on time without any delays. This pizza restaurant’s service was excellent and fabulous compared to others. I won’t hesitate to tell all of my friends and relatives about this place as well. Trust me... You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend this place very nice

We ordered a salami sandwich with cheese and pickles. We did not see any cheese or pickles in the sandwich and the amount of salami was barely covering the bread. For a 9.80 CHF sandwich, I'd expected something else. The rustica sandwich, on the other hand, with ham and mozzarella, was fine (8.80 CHF). The service was ok.

The the temperature was -5 degrees cel and lower on average in town and surrounding areas, but the hotel room temperature was super warm and better heated than my home house. The bed was very comfortable. Lastly breakfast was super👌

10 of us stayed at Hotel Sonne during our bike trip and it was a great find. Pizzas from the restaurant were top notch, reception was friendly and location was good for the price. Will stay again for sure.

It’s a perfect place in St.Moritz everything is on point the staff is very helpful and polite. The have several areas where you can stay in the evening and listen to piano. Highly recommend!

Good value for the price. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but it was convenient to the mountains for skiing, perfectly clean, and it included a decent breakfast. It was very easy to get around with the efficient bus system and there were two bus stops nearby. The cardio machines in the gym were basically all broken, so don’t count on going running, but they had a lot of weights and weight...

About the restaurant: Food's very good with plentiful portions and good presentations. Pricing is a little above average, but the biggest drawback is the gloomy environment which doesn't transmit a very positive vibe.

The hotel is beautiful. Came with complimentary spa and wellness facilities which were great and relaxing. Although the hotel is quite far from the train station, there is regular transportation arranged to and fro the hotel and train station which was really helpful. The staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive as well. Highly recommend this place!

It’s was a nice experience: Extremely pleasant, helpful, friendly, supportive team at the reception. All my requests were properly handled, and I have never heard answer “no”. Very client oriented approach. We even have got the room early (about 11 am), that was extremely appreciated. Very clean, warm, with parking available. Very close to Suvretta ski lift.

This is the fifth year in a row we are coming here as a friends group for autumn hikes, spa relaxation and great food and wine :) I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was spacious, with painted patterns on the ceiling, resembling a palace. The windows were enormous, offering unparalleled views. From the train station, you can take an escalator up the mountain, cross the street, transfer to another escalator, and walk 100 meters to reach the hotel.

Arrived and was met by a very friendly guy, who welcomed me, gave me my keys and led me to my room. The room was clean. It had all I needed for a good night's sleep. The bed was comfy and I slept well. I would stay there again if I passed through Zurich again. I felt valued and comfortable there.

There is no one on duty at night. On case of emergency, no one help. I encounter electricity shut down at 9:xx at night and no one from hotel help. To go down to lobby and call the designated phone number.

But the hotel front desk are very friendly and helpful, offer me several service to solve my panic (I have many luggage) which I very difficult to carry the luggage to walk about 20+ mins from bus stop during snow time. We were sold a double bed, they buy us in a room with 3 single beds in a 4th floor with no elevator. We had to carry very heavy luggage upstairs. The building was pretty empty, we should have been given better accommodations.

We have stayed at 5 Star resorts and we absolutely loved Chesa Spuondas. I wanted our kids to see what a real European Vacation is like and we had a fabulous time.
