We stopped in for lunch and had a great meal! Service was timely, and the staff was very friendly!
We ordered the hawaiian pizza (yeah, yeah, I know, pineapple doesn't belong on pizza! ) but hear me out, mixed with their own blend of spicy olive oil... yummmm.
The caprice salad was fresh and amazing too. And don't forget to top it off with a nice summer white wine spritzer.

The location of this hotel is perfect for the lake. Right opposite the ferry terminal. The restaurant is lovely with seating across the road next to the lake and at the hotel, inside and out with an excellent menu. Breakfast is served at the hotel and has a good selection of hot and cold foods. The staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. We had parking in the Migros underground carpark, 10 minutes walk away, arranged through the hotel at a cost of 20Euros a night. Well worth the money as parking is at a premium. The road outside is mainly pedestrian, although it used all day and night by cars and bicycles, but isn’t busy. You can stop outside the hotel to drop off your luggage. You need to come in via a road through the village, there is a barrier in the road that you need to press a button to ask for admittance. A public beach is about 15 minutes away. It was extremely hot the first few days we were there (August) and the rooms don't have air con. However, the hotel suppled a large fan in the room and it did help a little. The weather changed after a storm and we were able to leave the fan off, so not a deal breaker. The room, bathroom and shower (nowhere to put your bits and bobs) were very small, but to be fair it was adequate. The room decor is very tired, but comfortable.

The view over the lake is fantastic. The location of the hotel is right on the lakeshore, amongst lots of restaurants and cafes. Because of that it was sometimes a little noisy a night - but nothing too bad.

Perfect for couples, direct to the Lake view, walking distance tothe Restaurants, around the Lake area. Very easy access by Car or by Bus.

We were in a 2nd floor room with small balcony. 2 patio chairs and great views. We ate at the hotel's restaurant on the lake which was fine dining. If you have half board, you only have one choice of a main meal, which is unusual. It was not a problem for us but could be for others.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Romantik Hotel Castello. The staff was exceptional always so kind, helpful, and attentive, which made the experience even more special. We had the most wonderful experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to Daniel Heiserer, who helped us organize our wedding in the most amazing way. From the planning to the execution, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make our day perfect.

The castle itself is beautiful, elegant, comfortable, and very well maintained. The atmosphere and service made the whole experience even more special.

One of the highlights was the restaurant garden with its stunning lake view, a peaceful, romantic setting that added so much to our experience.

And the food? Absolutely excellent. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place or team to help us celebrate such a special moment. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location. Very nice staff: friendly, caring. The room was clean and due to wind weather they even brought an extra heater. Breakfast without excess, but everything is very fresh and delicious. I was very pleased with the hotel.
