I really recommend staying at this hotel and visiting the restaurant. The staff is very kind and attentive, and even after check-out they treated me wonderfully. The food is excellent — you must try the risotto, it’s absolutely delicious!

First time in Osteria Ticino, this place was recommended by local who run a shop nearby. She was telling the food is pretty good and authentic. And yes indeed, but too bad i went there alone so i couldn't try variety of food :(.

We spent three nights in this wonderful little hotel. Our room was on the top floor and had a spacious balcony. The room was a bit worn, but nice and clean. The staff and service were very friendly. Don't forget to take advantage of the free bus ticket for tourists - you can get it from the staff.
The hotel has a nice restaurant downstairs. We had dinner there one night. The food was delicious! Our dinner was one of the best we have had in Switzerland. The atmosphere of the osteria was cozy and warm. The service was friendly and the pricing ok considering that it is Switzerland. We will definitely be back.

Amazing restaurant! The service was great, really nice and friendly personnel. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcome and calm. You can choose from all pizzas on the menu and decide to take the ‘black’ dough. I can really recommend this, I’ve never had a black pizza before. The taste is the same and weirdly enough it looks more healthy ;)! Grazie mille!

Friendly and accommodating staff who helped us out with breakfast when we needed to leave early. However, the hotel is very expensive for what you get. The room was small and outdated with no climate control and we were given a single bottle (.33l) of water to share.

Friendly staff, good food

My expectations weren't very high, however that pizza was the worst I had in decades; the dough was burned and hadn't risen. Toppings had no taste. Sorry for not giving credit to the service which was really nice.. Apparently the cook changed a year ago which may explain better reviews in the past..
