We chose this 3-star hotel which looked decent for its price in the photos. However, upon arrival, we greeted in the local language, and the man sitting behind reception answered in Italian with a “ciao.” Surprising. We continued in Swiss German (even though our language is French), but he kept speaking in Italian and couldn’t manage the local language. He couldn’t find our reservation and finally gave us the room of another guest with the same first name. Reception: terrible.

The elevator was out of order. We took the stairs: the carpet was filthy, completely worn out, and dirty everywhere.

The room: the door was thin, the room itself was spacious, simple, and clean, but the windows and curtains were dirty. Only one chair on the balcony — broken.

The bathroom: tiny, dark, extremely old. The door opened inward, which meant it couldn’t even open fully, and you had to contort yourself to get inside. Missing tiles revealed mold everywhere. No toothbrush glasses. No glasses at all. After flushing the toilet, the water kept running for another five minutes.

Breakfast: stale croissants, cappuccino without milk, the waiter just stared at us without doing anything. No hello, nothing. It felt like a big, soulless youth hostel dining hall — bland, cold — and this is supposed to be a 3-star hotel.

I have been travelling to many countries, never stayed in such a bad hotel. The carpet in the corridor is so dirty, the whole hotel is smelly. The lift didn’t work, we carried our stuff to second floor. We were told our room no. is 200, but actually there was room 2, no 200

Clean, older hotel. Room 233 was super clean, with good beds and fluffy blankets. We asked for a second pillow and it was given to us immediately. The staff was amazing, super friendly!! That's hospitality, all with Italian charm! The hotel restaurant is highly recommended; we spent two nights at the hotel and had both dinners there. The food was fantastic, especially the pizzas and tagliatelle salmone. The location is good for the lift—you can park for free at the hotel and then walk about 5-10 minutes to the lift. Perfect! Yes, comments about the hotel being old and having seen better days are true—it was most likely built in the late 70s/early 80s and hasn't been renovated much. But it has a TV, it's clean, it has towels and soap—it's warm, and it has a balcony, too. Old plugs, shower with a shower tray. But ask yourself: is "old" bad? Everything works, and breakfast is full of everything (muesli, croissants, etc.), and the coffee is served with great charm! It's a 3-star hotel, and the price/performance ratio is great in December 👍

Even with a warm jacket and thick socks, I was freezing; the room and breakfast room were freezing cold. I slept on a camp bed – for 100 francs a night. My two emails never responded.

Italian is spoken. The staff are very friendly, though. The hotel, however, is in desperate need of renovation. The hallway smells of dog, and all the furniture is dilapidated. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Besides being close to Fiesch Bergbahnen, we have nothing good to talk about this hotel. We were hoping to enjoy a fun ski weekend there, but we had to cancel last night to leave earlier because of multiple reasons. Firstly, we had the staff randomly come into our room without any warning while we were still inside. We find this unacceptable and there’s no locking mechanism. Secondly, the breakfast was really not acceptable - second morning, we could tell the bread and cheese and eggs were from the day before. Not fresh at all and the dishware was not properly cleaned. The elevator was broken the entire weekend, and there was no effort to have it fixed asap. The cherry on top was how they dealt with very rowdy and loud guests. For two nights in a row, we suffered from insomnia due to very very unruly guests that kept loudly laughing, chatting and even running around at 3am for many hours. When we complained, they did nothing but offer us to cancel the remaining night, No real compensation or effort to resolve the problem or put us in a room further away. They aren’t responsible for other guests’ behavior but they are responsible for customer care, and we find this entirely unacceptable. The staffs spoke barely any english or german for that matter, and couldn’t communicate properly when filing complaints. Cannot recommend this accommodation at all.

Overall, a good hotel with one major flaw: there's nothing at breakfast suitable for those with lactose intolerance. A shame. Otherwise, although a bit dated, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the food in the restaurant/pizzeria below the hotel is really good.

I got lost in the mountains. I chose the cancel hotel immediately after making the reservation, but the hotel confirmed it. When I called the customer service and said that I was still an hour and a half away and couldn't make it before 12 o'clock, the customer service promised to help me early tomorrow morning. I asked the hotel if I could get a refund. The hotel was closed at 12 o'clock. I slept with my child in the car that night, and the next day I was told by the hotel that there was no refund. I want to say that I applied for a slip-out as soon as possible. Money, why not? Is there any royal law? Is Europe so domineering? This is just for everyone. Please avoid lightning!
