Hong Kong Hotel in Dar es Salaam

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. they overbooked the hotel and tried to upcharge us for a 'deluxe' room with only 1 bed (for 3 people). Told me to sleep on the floor but refused to provide even sheets or bedding for the couch cushions I was forced to use. Spoke badly about us in Swahili to our faces assuming we didn't understand. The door didn't lock and we were told to just stay in the room despite the fact that we had already been harassed by male guests. When we tried to get a tuktuk to get food, the woman from reception was outside and demanded our driver to tell her where we were going which was a huge invasion of privacy. I have never experienced such an awfully run establishment nor such apathetic and (in many cases) rude staff. DO NOT STAY HERE. Area is also extremely loud at all hours and even 8 floors up it sounds as if you are on street level from the noise.
