Upon waking up to the beautiful beachfront view, it's hard not to feel a sense of calm and relaxation. The friendly staff members added a nice touch to the overall ambiance of the place. However, I couldn't help but feel that the rooms could have been more inviting and the furniture could have been of better quality (the desk was almost falling apart) my father in law also unfortunately got electricuted while trying to open the fridge in the room. The bed sheets had some noticeable stains. Despite these drawbacks, the convenience of being able to step out and go for a swim right away was truly enjoyable. With a bit of improvements in the room and a bit more attention to cleanliness, this place has the potential to be a top-notch beachfront destination.

The standards at Sunrise have really gone downhill. Booking and check-in process was badly handled. The pool was not opened on time (11AM instead of 9AM). The breakfast was bad. The rooms were decent but cleanliness is an issue. TV’s in our two rooms were not working. Have stayed here in the past, last time was 2021, but will not be coming back here again with my family. They need to really improve the management and service levels here.

Amazing ambiance, friendly staff, serene and peaceful environment, delicious and authentic cuisine on the menu card, fully furnished rooms with all the necessary amenities. All this with great value and suitable pricing. Sunrise beach resort is one of the best resorts in the area in my experience.

I came with my family and we had a amazing time. The staff were polite and food was delicious. They serve food till the room and it comes hot. Swimming pool is big and safe for small children. Price is reasonable and rooms are big they allow one mattress for a small charge. Must to go place 💯😊

No complaints everything was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The rooms was very clean. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to for a place to stay in kigamboni. It’s very safe. We had a great time.

Went with my kids for swimming pool, pool condition is not good and water not clean. Some places there are fungus . Water treatment /pumps not working which cause bad smell of water. It is not healthy for user

Stayed one night b& b in beach side room The bedroom and bathroom needed a makeover. Empty TV installation with wires. Bathroom fixtures needed replacement. Pool at weekend very busy with day visitors and loud music. Staff very nice and welcoming. However egrettably not somewhere I would want to return to.

I was not satisfied with their staff, otherwise breakfast was good enough &but Dinner Waiters were very untrained , we had ordered Dinner n they served us but without plates, after asking them for the same they were just roaming from one place to other, I was surprised after having cold our meal they brought the 2 plates on our table as if they are not well trained waiters, imagine they are serving meals without trays.

Worst services ever in my all vacations had taken suit room never visiting again here no water in rooms had to request more 15 times no dustbins in the rooms no towels all terrible, for food waiter waited for 2 hours waiters have worst services half food came the rest food comes late so disappointing never recommending any one worst management ever

This is one place that we are frequent visitors to. We do enjoy the ambience and the location. Out of town but close enough. The time we spend at Sunrise is worth and we do relax there. The food is excellent and you can ask the chef to make few changes to suit your taste buds. The rooms are clean and services daily. Should you need additional pillows or towels, the friendly staff is very helpful and will assist you. The music DJ use be at the part close to the see, but it has been changed to be at the swimming pool area. When I was told that the music is there, I was skeptical regarding the music and the loudness might be a disturbance. The people enjoyed the music and the place was rocking. The music ended at about 20:00. and then all was quiet. I can recommend Sunrise. even for one night, you will not be sorry and enjoy the place. the food and service is good and we could not complain. Make a booking and enjoy south-beach.
