It's good to stay close to airport for some reason. (Flight mess, transit...) But not for relaxation or long stay

After a long day of sightseeing and exploring the bustling streets of the city, the hotel provided a peaceful and luxurious retreat. From the moment we stepped through the grand, historic entryway, we were captivated by the elegant ambiance that permeated the property.
Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with plush bedding, high ceilings, and large windows overlooking the tranquil lake. The attention to detail was apparent in the classic decor and well-appointed furnishings. We especially appreciated the generous work desk and complimentary high-speed WiFi, which allowed us to comfortably get some work done during our stay.
The hotel's common areas were equally impressive. The lobby featured cozy seating areas and a grand fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying a cocktail. The on-site restaurant offered a refined dining experience with a menu showcasing locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. We savored every bite of our expertly prepared meals, accompanied by stunning views of the lake.
One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's wellness facilities. The indoor pool and hot tub provided the perfect opportunity to unwind, while the state-of-the-art fitness center allowed us to maintain our workout routine during our travels. The attentive and friendly staff were also quick to provide recommendations for nearby hiking trails and other local attractions.

A pretty okay hotel
The hotel is decent for it's price level, but there were a few things that affected our experience in a negative manner.
First of all, the aircondition in our room (room 105) had been tampered with so that the efficiency of the aircon was at perhaps 20%. This is common in Tanzania in order to save electricity, but the result was that we felt very hot and had difficulty sleeping.
The other thing was that the noise level from outside was pretty high; whenever the church had sermon or the nearby bar showed football match, the noise level came. But it was not a huge problem for us, just annoying.
The staff really tried their best, but the rule of only giving us one towel even when we were two people in the room seemed strange.
I liked the bar and restaurant spaces.
The neighbourhood is not touristic, which for me was just what I wanted.
Overall, this was an okay hotel. It is not for everyone, but as long as you have correct expectations then you might enjoy it there!

Thank you for all the conveniences in the trip.com app. Flight tickets are very cheap. Cheaper than anywhere We will travel with trip.com to travel comfortably around the world.

It's an OK hotel in a busy neighborhood .The staff were humble, friendly and helpful but further than that would be expecting too much from them. They're trying their best to accommodate guests but I would not recommend it to any foreign traveller because the neighborhood is a bit challenging if you're not a local. The rooms were clean and air conditioned but I would suggest that travellers make a proper enquiry about the type of breakfast served before booking. And I think this would boost the hotel's ratings if a nice and simple warm breakfast could be served to add to the welcome atmosphere. I think it's seen it's heyday.

This hotel is located in the middle of a Hood, not at all safe or suitable for international travellers. There's no swimming pool or nightclub as mentioned in the amenities list. I booked for 4 days but stayed only 4 hours and got myself a better hotel in the city centre.
