Hotel Nikko Tower in Dar es Salaam

It's very clean and modern hotel Very comfortable extra large bed and so soft bedding material 😍. Very good location near by ferry ⛴️. Friendly and very kind staff 😀

We had a positive stay overall. Convenient location near the SGR station. Comfortable bed and great shower. Our dinner ordered from the hotel restaurant was good and came quickly, but we had to eat in our room because the AC was not on in the restaurant and it was very warm. Our booking included late check out which was helpful.

This hotel is very close to the harbor and located in a neighborhood with strong Indian-Tanzanian influences. Check-in was seamless, and I received an internet code for two days, which can only be verified on one device. Unfortunately, the connection strength on the 5th floor was a bit weak, causing the connection to drop occasionally. The windows aren't airtight, which is clearly noticeable from the volume of the muezzin's call to prayer. Otherwise, the cleanliness and quality of sleep were satisfactory. The breakfast offers several Indian-Tanzanian options, all of which were delicious. Overall, a good hotel for one night with very good connections.

In the old town, very close to the pier, 10 minutes walk. The surrounding environment is noisy and chaotic, but this is also the daily state in Dar es Salaam. The hotel room is small and cramped, but overall it is clean and has hot water. It is particularly worth mentioning that the boss is very nice. They are very welcoming to Chinese tourists. After we checked out, they offered to rent a room for us free of charge to store our luggage and wash our clothes (we felt it was inappropriate and declined). During our stay, the front desk staff used the taxi app on their phone to call a taxi for us (we paid the driver), which was 1/2 to 2/3 cheaper than hailing a taxi on the street.

Great location. Good service. In the middle of the city center ( old part of the city). Many commerces open during the day. At night is not safe to walk around but you can always call a taxi an Uber.

The service is good, the breakfast ok. The hotel is well maintained although it is a bit old but the nearby buildings are very close
